True. Fallacies expatiating details of a super-natural dictator, whom threatens to torture one for not worshiping, will naturally give people a sense of hope.
To James in UK I respectfully submit that your very thoughts and opinions, which you articulate very well, are even yours to speak because you have a maker. He gives you life and breath and imagination and creativity. He made you knowing that at this point in your life you would not yet see Him as the source of everything that brings you joy, the source that gives you the capacity to even enjoy the world around you. I have not read your blog so I don't know how you think, but I can say that truth is unyielding whether we choose to yield to it, to Him, or not.
To Author of this post, even as Christians we fail to seek Him first, often going to others before we go to Him. I firmly believe we ask of Him first, in the Word, in prayer, and then as He says and gives leeway, we go to others for wise and prayerful counsel.
True.
