Of course, most Americans are happy to be governed by thieves. Just as long as God is kept out of our nation and people continue to get their food stamps and free TV. The Government has created a nation of minorities to better control us. Now the biggest class of people in America is the 'Stupid Class'.
Now I know I am from Canada and the government is slightly different, but they are still both tax citizens and are a democracy(ish)(but thats another story). And I noticed that you are at the very least a God fearing person. I would even agree with you that there are too many taxes, however in the Bible (Ref: Matt. 22:18-22, Matt. 17:24-27) Jesus shows us that give to the government that which is the government's (I assume since I seen the last American $ bill, it had the words Federal Reserve Note on it). Another thing to consider is that God commands us to be submissive to our Authorities (Heb. 13:17), even if they fail miserably in leading; they are appointed by God. However in this "democracy" we do hav a freedom to make an informed decision as to our vote for leaders. So overall what I am trying to get at is that "Revolution", rebellion and over-throwing governments is not justified by God, rather you should vote in elections accordingly.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that there are too many taxes, we hav too many in Canada as well. However God commands us to obey our leaders and to get to the Government, what is the Government's (references: Matt.22:17-22, Matt. 17:24-27, Heb. 13:17). And last time I checked all the American $ bills had "Federal Reserve Note" on them, making them belong to the Government. Also since both (US & CAN) are "democracies" at least in teh sense that we vote for our leaders, we are given the freedom of making an informed decision on who we are to vote for as leaders. So overall what I am trying to get at is that we can discuss what is wrong with government in relation to choosing the best person for authority, but we MUST not talk or go as far as "Revolution" (as the image at top of this Post indicates) or start Rebellions or over-throw Governments (even in dictatorships and alike). Leaders are appointed by God, because God is in Control of all things (ref. Rom. 13:1-7).
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments JustOne. I do believe any actions against our government should be of a non-violent type.
