Once again Congress has done what they do best. That is, separating Americans from their money. Of course they quote the Bible to back up their decision to raise the National Debt. Now, after suffering two weeks of debating and voting they now go back on vacation. This time for five weeks. As they were leaving the chamber, they were heard singing ' There shall be showers of blessing'. You know that old Christian song, don't you?
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Money-drops round us are falling,
But for the dollars we plead.
Thank God they don't work all year or the American people would have to receive humanitarian aid from Ethiopia.
