Trish was one of the better news commentators on the Fox Network. Next thing you know they will cancel Lou Dobbs. It's a sad day for America. Wish President Trump would comment on this disgusting move.

In unapologetic defiance of a South Carolina school district’s ban on prayer at graduation ceremonies, valedictorian Roy Costner IV shredded his approved speech and rocked the crowd at his high-school commencement – with a reading of the “Lord’s Prayer.” The audience went wild June 1 when Costner surprised attendees of the Liberty High School graduation at Clemson’s Littlejohn Colliseum with his tribute to the Almighty. Immediately after he took the stage, Costner explained to the crowd that his original graduation speech had been pre-approved by the administration – but he didn’t proceed as they had planned. “Those that we look up to, they have helped carve and mold us into the young adults that we are today,” he said. “I’m so glad that both of my parents led me to the Lord at a young age. Costner continued, “And I think most of you will understand when I say, ‘Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done: on Earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us for our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.” The crowd roared with support. According to the Christian News Network, Pickens County School District spokesman John Eby said the district has been under attack by anti-prayer activist groups. “From the ACLU sending FOIA requests to every district in the state this year after the Chesterfield County case, then the Freedom From Religion Foundation sent us a complaint about religion at board meetings and some other issues as well,” Eby said. So the district banned prayer at all school functions, allowing only a moment of silence at graduations. But Costner refused to succumb to atheist threats and harassment. According to the Washington Times, Eby said no disciplinary action will be taken against Costner. “The bottom line is, we’re not going to punish students for expressing their religious faiths,” he said. “He’s a graduate now. There’s nothing we can do about it, even if we wanted to.” As news spread of Costner’s prayer, online reaction to the story was mostly positive. Comments included the following: •Good job kid. Maybe there is hope. •Someone get Obama on the phone, stat! we’ve got a graduate who didn’t drink the Kool-Aid. He ought be sent to our re-education camps for this transgression. •Nice! Americans who understand the 'big picture' know that anyone who is speaking out about the mechanisms in place destroying this country and the massive power grabs by Congress to centralize every facet of American life under a totalitarian government are aware that:

The dominant media is compromised and that includes cable, i.e. FOX, CNN, MSNBC. You will never see me, Dr. Edwin Vieira, Dr. Carolyn Dean, Bill Benson or any other individual on Hannity & Colmes, Bill O'Reilly, Dan Abrams, Paula Zahn or any others. Fox News might be fair and balanced in many areas, but that network is owned by a big time new world order player, Ruppert Murdoch. He isn't about to allow any programming on his network that is contrary to the goals of achieving a one world government.

The nightly propaganda machines (ABC, NBC, CBS) are viewed by roughly 30 million Americans every evening who get nothing but a minute or two of carefully chosen "news" by the elite that they want the American people to have. Cable is a bit more diverse, but none of them will touch any guest who is trying to warn the American people about all the real dangers facing this republic and who is orchestrating events.

The dominant newspapers in this country are all owned by monstrous conglomerates. Journalists like me, Dennis Cuddy, Frosty Wooldridge and others will never get our columns published in the LA Times, Chicago Sun Times, SF Chronicle and so on. Forget it. There are a few excellent newspapers out there, i.e. The Idaho Observer, but unlike USA Today, another rag, the owners of The Idaho Observer don't have the funding to go national.

Talk radio is dominated by Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and other neutralizers. If you add up the number of stations just those three are syndicated on, it's in the hundreds and hundreds.

Americans are pressed for time every day. They are stuck in commute traffic for 30 minutes or an hour each way to work and then back home. Between family obligations and the fact that unless you have a few hundred thousand dollars to drop on mainstream advertising mediums, the chances of ten or twenty million people clicking on to devvy.com or NewsWithViews.com are slim. Contact usually comes from word of mouth or hearing a columnist on one of those radio shows that can't get syndicated. Most Americans simply don't have time to surf the Internet or if they do use the Net with their limited time, they have set sites they quickly check for some news or shopping.

IRS should enforce pastor's speech ban. A spokesman for President Bush responds to question about preachers talking politics.

The Internal Revenue Service should be, and is, enforcing a law banning pastors from talking politics from their pulpits, according to a spokesman for the White House.
Deputy Press Secretary Tony Fratto today told Les Kinsolving, WND's correspondent at the White House, that he hasn't talked with the president about a campaign event last Sunday at which ministers of the Gospel addressed the moral issues at hand in the 2008 election.
Kinsolving asked: "The AP also reports that 33 pastors in 22 states made specific endorsements of political candidates in challenging the IRS-Lyndon Johnson ruling about no political endorsements in churches. And my question: Does the president believe that America's clergy should be denied the freedom of speech to endorse political candidates?"
Fratto responded: "Those rules are set forth in IRS regulations, directed by statute. And the IRS is enforcing the law, and the president believes that the IRS should enforce the law. But on the specific question of these clergymen, I haven't had that conversation with the president."

The campaign was launched by the Alliance Defense Fund to challenge the 1954 amendment to the Internal Revenue Code that barred non-profit groups such as churches from participating in or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of any political candidate.
At the time the effort was announced, ADF Senior Legal Counsel Erik Stanley said, "Pastors have a right to speak about biblical values from the pulpit without fear of punishment. No one should be able to use the government to intimidate pastors into giving up their constitutional rights.
"The government can't demand that a church give up its right to tax-exempt status simply because the pastor exercises his First Amendment rights in the pulpit. Groups like Americans United intentionally trigger IRS investigations that will silence churches through fear, intimidation, and disinformation," he said.
The organization has posted a website video described the history of the rights of free speech, those who worked toward that goal and how the restriction came about.
"Prior to 1954, churches were free to evaluate the positions of political candidates on moral issues without fear of the Internal Revenue Service revoking their tax-exempt status," the ADF said. "That year, then-Senator Lyndon Johnson amended the tax code to add the threat of IRS action against churches if their pastors mentioned the positions of specific candidates from the pulpit. Citing that rule, groups like [Americans United] have repeatedly threatened to report churches to the IRS if they speak out on such issues."
Other tax-exempt organizations, the ADF said, don't have the same restrictions as churches, such as civic leagues; labor, agricultural, or horticultural associations; business leagues; chambers of commerce; real estate boards; boards of trade; professional football leagues; clubs organized for pleasure, recreation, and other nonprofit purposes; fraternal beneficiary societies; and cemeteries.
"The intimidation of churches by leftist groups using the IRS has grown to a point that ADF has no choice but to respond," Stanley said at the time. "The number of threats being reported to ADF is growing because of the aggressive campaign to unlawfully silence the church. IRS rules don't trump the Constitution, and the First Amendment certainly trumps the Johnson amendment."
According to the ADF, several dozen pastors participated in Sunday's campaign.
Kinsolving addressed the issue in his column for WND. which cited a message from Rev. John W. Yates II, clergyman for The Falls Church near Washington.
Yates referred to the "movement" afoot to have pastors "preach politics."
The law banning pastors from commenting "has always troubled me," he said.
"I'm skeptical about the government's authority to dictate to the church in this way," Yates said. "There is a cultural elitism in America that would like to keep religion privately comforting but publicly irrelevant! But if our biblical faith does not inform and shape our thinking on public policy and guide us in whom to vote for, we are simply failing in our responsibility as followers of Christ. We won't always agree with one another, but it is unthinkable that followers of Christ wouldn't evaluate candidates policies in light of the Word of God. I don't plan to break the law next Sunday. But I could envision a time arising when I would feel that I would be disobeying God not to speak to you about some political issue or election."

Fahrenheit 451

Fahrenheit 451 is just around the corner. Hide your books, especially the Bible. Just under half of Americans believe the government should mandate that all radio and television stations offer equal amounts of "conservative" and "liberal" political commentary, according to a new Rasmussen poll.
Rasmussen noted Republicans have expressed alarm in recent months over congressional Democratic efforts to restore the so-called Fairness Doctrine. The law was abolished in 1987, during the Reagan administration, opening the door to development of a flourishing talk-radio market led by Rush Limbaugh.
But the poll found 47 percent believe the government should require stations to "balance" the political viewpoint expressed over the airwaves.
Rasmussen found, however, 71 percent say it is already possible for just about any political view to be heard in today's media. Some 20 percent did not agree.
The poll also touched on regulation of the Internet, revealing 31 percent believe websites should be forced to balance their commentary.
This week, Rasmussen noted, Robert McDowell, a Bush appointee to the Federal Communications Commission, suggested restoration of the Fairness Doctrine could lead to government regulation of content on the Internet.
Ramussen's new survey found Democrats are more supportive of government involvement in the airwaves than Republicans and unaffiliated voters. The poll showed 54 percent of Democrats in favor and just 26 percent opposed. Republicans and unaffiliated voters are fairly evenly divided.
Republican Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana has introduced the Broadcaster Freedom Act, arguing the lifting of the Fairness Doctrine has "opened the public airwaves to free and vigorous discussion of controversial issues by individuals of all political stripes."
"Bringing back the Fairness Doctrine would amount to government control over political views expressed on the public airwaves," Pence said. "It is a dangerous proposal to suggest the government should be in the business of rationing free speech," he said.
Pence, a former broadcaster, said his Broadcasters Freedom Act would ensure that "true freedom and fairness will remain on our radio airwaves."

The Socialist Democrats Anti-God Government already controls the Press, Television, Supreme Court, Lawyers and Judges, now they are after the last source of freedom of speech, Religious broadcasting and Truth; that is Talk Radio and the Internet. On the Internet they are not worried about Porn or Homosexuality, just theses pesky Christians and their conservative views.
