With July 4th just around the corner, I wonder just what type of celebrations we will have. The war against terrorism in Afghanistan which is almost as far away as Vietnam is now in it's what; 9th or 10th year. What is being accomplished? How can parents condoned sending their sons to fight a war with no goal and no end. As a general rule when Republicans wage war the enemy dies, when Democrats wage war American troops die. You know, like rules saying you can't shoot first, or bomb the south side of the bridge, or pursue the enemy but stop at the border while they continue to shoot at you. Where are the liberal demonstrations against the war that were so intense when Bush was in office. Liberals don't demonstrate when their party is in office. But just like in the movie 1984, War is Peace so keep sending more cannon fodder; your sons, for the war effort. It's the patriotic thing to do. It's a war on terrorism. Who are the enemy? All the wars around the globe today involve Islam to a certain extent. But just like communism we embrace and promote it. What is the cost? Your Sons!

Japan puts anti-whaling boss on Interpol list

TOKYO - The leader of a U.S.-based anti-whaling organization is now on an international wanted list for allegedly masterminding the group's disruption of Japanese whale hunts in the Antarctic Ocean, Japan's coast guard said Friday.

The move - done at Japan's request - signals Tokyo's escalating anger against the Sea Shepherd group, which it accuses of putting whalers' lives at risk during the annual Antarctic hunt.

The Canadian founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Paul Watson, 59, has been on the Interpol list since Wednesday, Coast Guard spokesman Shinichiro Tanaka said. He said Watson's whereabouts is unknown.

Sea Shepherd officials were not immediately available for comment.

Every year, Sea Shepherd attempts to obstruct Japan's whaling mission, which it carries out under an exception to a 1986 moratorium by the International Whaling Commission.

The Japanese Coast Guard already obtained a court-issued arrest warrant for Watson in April in connection with the trial of another activist accused of obstructing Japanese whaling in the Antarctic.

Japanese prosecutors accuse Watson of ordering Peter Bethune to climb onto the Japanese whaling vessel Shonan Maru 2 in February. Watson has denied the allegation.

Bethune, meanwhile, is charged with trespassing, vandalism, possession of a knife, obstructing business and assault. The 45-year-old New Zealander pleaded guilty to all but the assault charge. Prosecutors demanded two years in prison for Bethune in the last trial session earlier this month. A verdict should come July 7.

None of Sea Shepherd members, including Watson, have attended trial sessions.

Bethune admitted he climbed onto the Shonan Maru 2 from a Jet Ski in what he said was an attempt to confront the ship's captain over the sinking of a protesters' vessel the previous month. Prosecutors say Bethune threw glass bottles containing rotten butter at the harpoon boat, including one that broke and left three Japanese crew members with chemical burns. He was held on board the ship and arrested when the vessel returned to Tokyo in March.

Tanaka said the Interpol wanted list requests that police in 188 member nations cooperate with Japan's investigation of Watson by providing information about him, but does not require that they arrest him. He did not elaborate, citing the ongoing investigation.

Sea Shepherd last month announced that it had expelled Bethune, saying he had violated the group's policy against carrying weapons.

Here Is Where The Attacks Against Liberty Are Really Coming From

Politicians in Washington, D.C., love to manufacture a crisis. The crisis generates fear within the citizenry, thereby allowing the federal government to centralize more and more power. During a crisis, the citizenry becomes much more forgiving of federal abuses and accommodating of federal encroachments than it otherwise would be without a crisis. Hence, we have a federal "war on drugs," and a "war on poverty," and a "war on terror," and an "oil crisis," and an "energy crisis," and a "domestic terrorism crisis," and an "education crisis," and a "border crisis," and an "economic crisis"--Blah! Blah! Blah!

You can mark it down: every major crisis that America has faced over the last several decades has been either manufactured or facilitated by policies and activities originating in Washington, D.C. But at the same time that DC is creating these crises, it categorizes any ideological group it finds distasteful as a convenient scapegoat. These convenient scapegoats can include "angry white guys," "tea party extremists," "a vast right-wing conspiracy," Constitution Party or Libertarian Party "extremists," "Second Amendment extremists" (gun owners), "pro-life extremists," ad infinitum, ad nauseam.

Yet, while DC's elitists are plotting America's next crisis and figuring out whom to categorize as America's next "extremist," some real enemies are waging war against the freedoms and liberties of our once-great republic. And, ladies and gentlemen, these enemies are much more subtle, a lot closer, and much more dangerous than almost anything you are being told about.

Here are some of freedom's real enemies: The National News Media

For the most part, the national news media is no friend of freedom. About all most of them know of the US Constitution is the part about the "freedom of the press" (from the First Amendment, of course). Watch any of the Big Three television network newscasts on any weekday evening, and what will you see? You will see the exact same stories regurgitated over and over again--even with the exact same spin! And that spin is most always tilted toward bigger and bigger government. This goes on night after night, week after week, month after month, and year after year. But this is all just coincidental, right? Get real! Well, if you get your news from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, or FOX NEWS, that is exactly what you are being led to believe.

The cable news networks are not much better. About the only difference between cable networks is that CNN will provide cover for Big Government Democrats while viciously attacking all things Republican, and FOX NEWS will provide cover for Big Government Republicans while viciously attacking all things Democrat.

Face it: the national news media is intoxicated with Two Party Politics. They really don't care nearly as much about the fundamental tenets and principles of liberty as they do about whether a Democrat or Republican wins office. Washington's media elite are wined and dined by the same party politicians that they cover on television or in the newspaper. (What a racket!) Do you really think any major media news personality is going to risk losing his or her job (which is exactly what would happen) by asking too many questions, or boring too deeply, or straying too far off the reservation? Once again, get real! All of these guys and gals know exactly where the line--and the "third rail"--is located. And they all will stay clear of both! It's not about reporting the news, or defending liberty, or anything of the sort. It is about pleasing their big corporate sponsors--corporate sponsors who are in bed with the elites from both major political parties, by the way!

As long as the American people continue to allow the national news media to manipulate and spin the news, our liberties will continue to erode.

Freedom has many more real enemies that could be added to this list, of course; and maybe in the future we can talk more about them. For now, recognize that our liberties are hanging by a thread in this country. And the next time you hear someone in Washington, D.C., or the national news media railing against the latest "crisis" that requires Big Government to fix, please remember who the real enemy is.

A proposed mosque and community center at Ground Zero continues to draw protest from the right wing fringe. Sunday, close to a thousand angry, uninformed Americans gathered in lower Manhattan to demonstrate against plans to build the mosque and community center near the site of Ground Zero, where the twin towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed by Islamic hijackers on September 11, 2001.

Opponents of the proposed mosque call it "offensive" and "demeaning". Their angry and perverse paranoia willfully transforms a gesture of good will and community spirit into an insult to Americans and a celebration of Muslim fanaticism.

Those protesting the proposed mosque and community center have an uninformed and ignorant view of Islam. They see Islam as a monolithic force for evil, rather than a fragmented religious world view with both good and bad aspects.

Of course, many of the loudest voices of protest are fundamentalist Christians, with their own perverse and twisted world view, a world view that demands simple minded, black and white explanations, a world view incapable of dealing with the complexity and nuance of reality.

As many as 10,000 protesters from across the country – including family members who lost loved ones on Sept. 11, 2001 – took to the streets in New York City Sunday to fight construction of a 13-story Islamic mosque to be built just steps from Ground Zero where Muslim terrorists murdered 2,751 people in the name of Allah.

Now the organizers plan to sue the federal government to designate the site as a war memorial.

If you look at history you will see the evidence of God in the founding of America. Only one other nation matches this, that being Israel. You might say, what about Islam? Islam did not base their nations on the Bible. How America started and what it has become; I would classify as a falling away from the Truth. Historically, most nations required it's citizens to serve only the State and whatever the religion of the state was. The Roman and Greek Empires being two examples along with today's Communist Nations which proclaim no God. It is plain to see we are not governed like these although we did model some of the principles of the Greek and Roman governments. But the lives of individuals in these countries was not based on the individual. Our Founding Fathers acknowledge that our individual freedoms came from God and trusted in Him for guidance. People from all over the world sought to come to America. America's belief in God made her great and made her a light of hope to all the world.

There are many today who would doubt or deny that this is true. There has even been an attempt to cover up and, in some cases, to destroy the legacy of Christian thinking that has gone into the formation of our republic. Yet what were the true thoughts and intentions of the men and women who came before us?

A careful look into the past reveals landmarks which were essential in guiding America along the pathway that led us to where we are today. More often than not, at each one of these landmarks, there also appears irrefutable evidence that a sense of divine destiny accompanied the most important events of our history.

Here in part are some of these landmarks:

1490-1492 – Columbus’ commission was given to set out to find a new world.

According to Columbus’ personal log, his purpose in seeking undiscovered worlds was to “bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the heathens. …. It was the Lord who put into my mind … that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies … I am the most unworthy sinner, but I have cried out to the Lord for grace and mercy, and they have covered me completely … No one should fear to undertake any task in the name of our Saviour, if it is just and if the intention is purely for His holy service.” (Columbus’ Book of Prophecies)

April 10, 1606 – The Charter for the Virginia Colony read in part:

“To the glory of His divine Majesty, in propagating of the Christian religion to such people as yet live in ignorance of the true knowledge and worship of God.”

November 3, 1620 – King James I grants the Charter of the Plymouth council.

“In the hope thereby to advance the enlargement of the Christian religion, to the glory of God Almighty.”

November 11, 1620 – The Pilgrims sign the Mayflower Compact aboard the Mayflower, in Plymouth harbor.

“For the glory of God and advancement of ye Christian faith … doe by these presents solemnly & mutually in ye presence of God and one of another, covenant & combine our selves togeather into a civill body politick.”

March 4, 1629 – The first Charter of Massachusetts read in part:

January 14, 1638 – The towns of Hartford, Weathersfield and Windsor adopt the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut.

“To mayntayne and presearve the liberty and purity of the Gospell of our Lord Jesus, which we now professe…”

August 4, 1639 – The governing body of New Hampshire is established.

“Considering with ourselves the holy will of God and our own necessity, that we should not live without wholesome laws and civil government among us, of which we are altogether destitute, do, in the name of Christ and in the sight of God, combine ourselves together to erect and set up among us such government as shall be, to our best discerning, agreeable to the will of God…”

September 26, 1642 – The rules and precepts that were to govern Harvard were set up.

“Let every Student be plainly instructed, and earnestly pressed to consider well, the maine end of his life and studies is, to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternall life, John 17:3 and therefore to lay Christ in the bottome, as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and Learning. And seeing the Lord only giveth wisdome, Let every one seriously set himselfe by prayer in secret to seeke it of him Prov. 2.3.”

Harvard College was founded on Christi Gloriam and later dedicated Christo et Ecclesiae. The founders of Harvard believed that “all knowledge without Christ was vain.”

The charter of Yale University clearly expressed the purpose for which the school was founded: “Whereas several well disposed and Publick spirited Persons of their sincere Regard to & zeal for upholding & propagating of the Christian Protestant Religion … youth may be instructed in the Arts & Sciences who through the blessing of Almighty God may be fitted for Publick employment both in Church & Civil State.”

In addition to Harvard and Yale, 106 out of the first 108 schools in America were founded on the Christian faith.

April 3, 1644 – The New Haven Colony adopts their charter.

“That the judicial laws of God, as they were delivered by Moses … be a rule to all the courts in this jurisdiction …”

1647 – Governor William Bradford publishes Of Plimouth Plantation.

“Lastly, (and which was not least,) a great hope and inward zeall they (the Pilgrims) had of laying some good foundation, or at least to make some way thereunto, for ye propagation and advancing of ye gospell or ye kingdom of Christ in those remote parts of ye world; yea, though they should be but stepping-stones unto others for ye performing of so great a work … their desires were set on ye ways of God, and to employ his ordinances; but they rested on his providence, and know whom they had beleeved.”

April 21, 1649 – The Maryland Toleration Act is passed.

“Be it therefor … enacted … that no person or persons whatsoever within this province … professing to believe in Jesus Christ shall … henceforth be any ways troubled, molested (or disapproved of) … in respect of his or her religion nor in the free exercise thereof …”

April 25, 1689 – The Great Law of Pennsylvania is passed.

“Whereas the glory of Almighty God and the good of mankind is the reason and the end of government … therefore government itself is a venerable ordinance of God …”

May 20, 1775 – North Carolina passes the Mecklenburg County Resolutions.

“We hereby declare ourselves a free and independent people; are, and of a right ought to be, a sovereign and self-governing association, under control of no other power than that of our God and the general government of Congress.”

Summer 12, 1775 – Continental Congress issues a call to all citizens to fast and pray and confess their sin that the Lord might bless the land.

“And it is recommended to Christians of all denominations, to assemble for public worship, and to abstain from servile labor and recreation on said day.”

Summer 2-4, 1776 – Declaration of Independence written and signed.

“We hold these truths … that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights … appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world … And for the support of this Declaration, with firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence…”

As the Declaration was being signed, Samuel Adams said: “We have this day restored the Sovereign to Whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven, and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let his kingdom come.”

On the same day, Benjamin Franklin suggested that the national motto be: “Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.”

Historian and philosopher G.K. Chesterton said of the founding of America that it is “the only nation in the world that is founded on a creed. That creed is set forth in dogmatic and even theological lucidity in the Declaration of Independence.”

September 17, 1787 – The Constitution of the United States is finished.

At least 50 out of the 55 men who framed the Constitution of the United States were professing Christians. (M.E. Bradford, A Worthy Company, Plymouth Rock Foundation., 1982).

Eleven of the first 13 States required faith in Jesus Christ and the Bible as qualification for holding public office.

The Constitution of each of the 50 States acknowledges and calls upon the Providence of God for the blessings of freedom.

1787 – James Madison, the “architect” of the federal Constitution and fourth president:

“We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future .. upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to sustain ourselves, according to the Ten Commandments of God.”

April 30, 1789 – Washington gives his First Inaugural Address.

“My fervent supplications to that Almighty Being Who rules over the universe, Who presides in the council of nations, and Whose providential aid can supply every human defect, that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States a government instituted by Himself for these essential purposes.”

March 11, 1792 – President George Washington:

“I am sure that never was a people who had more reason to acknowledge a Divine interposition in their affairs than those of the United States; and I should be pained to believe that they have forgotten that agency which so often manifested in the Revolution.”

December 20, 1820 – Daniel Webster, Plymouth Massachusetts:

“Let us not forget the religious character of our origin. Our fathers brought hither their high veneration for the Christian religion. They journeyed by its light, and labored in its hope. 1833 – Noah Webster:

1841 – Alexis de Tocqueville (Democracy in America):

“In the United States of America the sovereign authority is religious … there is no other country in the world in which the Christian religion retains a greater influence over the souls of men than in America.”

Summer 8, 1845 – President Andrew Jackson asserts:

“The Bible is the rock upon which our Republic rests.”

February 11, 1861 – Abraham Lincoln, farewell at Springfield, Illinois:

“Unless the great God who assisted (Washington) shall be with me and aid me, I must fail; but if the same Omniscient Mind and Mighty Arm that directed and protected him shall guide and support me, I shall not fail … Let us all pray that the God of our fathers may not forsake us now.”

1891 – The U.S. Supreme Court restates that America is a “Christian Nation.”

1909 – President Theodore Roosevelt:

The government must remain neutral when it comes to competition between sects … The First Amendment, however, does not say that in every respect there shall be a separation of Church and State.”

Can you imagine being lied to around the clock and never knowing the Truth. Being restricted in what you do, where you go and what you say, even to who you pray. People like Michael Savage already know what it's like to be banned from speaking the truth. His last outlet is Talk Radio. Don't think the ballot box will save you. The system is not that easily overthrown. Remember the need for a civilian security force. They will be the SS of Homeland Security. Soon you will know how life was in places like Nazi Germany, Communist Russia and China. The light of freedom in America is being extinguished.

Right wing extremist

America's first "Right Wing Extremist". They believed in Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. They founded this nation on Christian principles and limited central government. They believed in freedom from oppressive rulers and governments. They understood that without Christian principles the new United States of America would fail. The nation they founded is gone.

This government – all of it from the executive on down - is on a mission to obliterate the name of the Son of God the Lord Jesus Christ from American culture. With an activist judiciary as their enforcer government bureaucrats regularly attempt to efface the name of Christ from every institutional entity both public and private. The movement is so pronounced that there have been serious attempts to prohibit the meeting of families in private homes for Christian worship.

This tells me that the transformation of the United States from a Constitutional Republic to godless totalitarian communism is nearly complete. No secular ideology other than Marxist communism mandates the absolute elimination of Christian belief and Christian worship. The communist dogma is of Satan and not Karl Marx; Marx was simply demonically led to fulfill the dictates of his father the devil who hates the Son of God.

At the risk of offending the true believers who sit among the nominal Christians in the denominational churches I submit that a predominant number of these churches today abet the heathen in the suppression of the teachings of Christ. When the preachers of these congregations avoid the hard lessons of scripture and displace, avoid, or eliminate the Gospel and replace it with humanism and the secular doctrines of social justice they fall to the desires of the powers and principalities in high places. The message of Jesus was not that our commission was to eliminate poverty or to equalize all of humanity to a single level of being. Jesus said that the poor would always be with us, and only the most foolish would deny that men are possessed of varying levels of intelligence and competency, which assures that men will occupy differing levels on the socioeconomic plane.

Jesus sent those who believed on Him into the world with a single message and a single purpose, and that was to convey the gospel to the world that many might transition from the short brutal existence in this dark terminal world to eternal life in His glorious Kingdom of light. Though men are not equal in this fallen world, all who believe upon the Son of God and confess and repent of their sins will have an honored status in His Kingdom.

ALL CIVILIZATIONS END AND THE BIGGEST FALL HARDEST

This country has lost the pride of its power and no longer has the will to either safeguard its God-given liberties or to defend against the inimical policies of belligerent nations. The United States hasn't won a war since the Second World War, and all of its post World War II conflicts have been against military pipsqueaks.

If we would have had during the last world conflict the military leaders of today and a perverse military filled with female combatants and sodomite troops we would have lost that war and been carried off as captive slaves of either a fascist Germany or an imperial Japan.

Commanding officers of the likes of Patton, McArthur, and those of their caliber and beliefs are cashiered by today's political system. Even those mentioned felt the sting of a rapidly emerging Marxist system in their day, but they were not cast off until they had played a large part in delivering the country from devastation by occultist forces. After their service they were then chastened and discarded by the communist commiserates whose sorry butts they had saved.

This is now a nation of divided interests. It consists of a collection of conflicting cultures and hoards of wandering nomads with no allegiance or commonality of purpose. This has been deliberately engineered by a collection of half-baked socialists, greedy and venal politicians looking to maintain political power by the votes of dependent itinerants, and by the cold and calculating satanic agents who would sacrifice the lives of millions to achieve a world-wide demonic domain.

I give the country three years at the least and five years at the most. We are done; the floods, tornadoes, earthquakes and the massive oil infusion of the gulf waters are not happenstance. Everything that is upon us is directly attributable to the moral rottenness of the people. An economic collapse is around the bend and will be followed by famine, racial warfare, nuclear destruction and the captivity of the people.

This is what happens when a people abandon faith in the true God, pursue heathen religions, and lust after the things of the world.

The manipulation of history is nothing new – it is an age old art – Voltaire once described history as a lie commonly agreed upon. The Romans took it to its zenith – following their adoption of Christianity, they destroyed the massive ancient library at Alexandria, Egypt, and with it was lost perhaps forever, much esoteric knowledge and the true history of the ancient world.

Even Richard Greaves in his article above rewrites history. The excerpt falsely accuses Christianity for the destruction of ancient manuscripts in the Great Library of Alexander.

Ancient and modern sources identify four possible occasions for the partial or complete destruction of the Library of Alexandria:

1.Julius Caesar's Fire in The Alexandrian War, in 48 BC
2.The attack of Aurelian in the third century AD;
3.The decree of Theophilus in AD 391;
4.The Muslim conquest in AD 642 or thereafter.

Christianity and America
Last week, I heard it again: That oft-repeated urban legend that we’ve heard so often. This time, to my horror, I heard it from a well-educated pastor: “Our founding fathers were not Christians. They were deists, atheists, and agnostics.”

Au contraire!

The pilgrims, as you will recall, were, Christians fleeing Europe in order to escape religious persecution, and they literally began their stay in their new land with the words, “In the name of God, Amen.”

The pilgrims were followed to New England by the Puritans, who created bible-based commonwealths. Those commonwealths practiced the same sort of representative government as their church covenants. Those governmental covenants and compacts numbered more than 100, and were the foundation for our Constitution.

New Haven (Connecticut) and Massachusetts were founded by Puritans who wanted to reform the Church of England, who later became known as Congregationalists. Roger Williams founded the colony of Rhode Island based on the principle of freedom of conscience. Pennsylvania was established by William Penn as a Quaker colony. Maryland was a haven for Catholics from Protestant England.

America was indeed founded by bible-believing Christians and based on Christian principles. When they founded this country, the Founding Fathers envisioned a government that would promote and encourage Christianity.

All but two of the first 108 universities founded in America were Christian. This includes the first, Harvard, where the student handbook listed this as Rule #1: “Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well, the main end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ, which is eternal life, John 17:3; and therefore to lay Jesus Christ as the only foundation for our children to follow the moral principles of the Ten Commandments."

In 1777. Continental Congress voted to spend $300,000 to purchase bibles which were to be distributed throughout the 13 colonies! And in 1782, the United States Congress declared, “The Congress of the United States recommends and approves the Holy Bible for use in all schools.

The year 1983 summoned forth two splendid examples of moral imperfection: Rep. Daniel Crane (R-Ill) and Rep. Gerry Studds (D-Mass). Both were censured by the House for sexual misconduct with 17-year-old pages.

The nation got a glimmer of their philosophical differences when Crane admitted tearfully that he "broke the laws of God and man." He cast a vote for his own censure and faced the House as the Speaker announced the tally.

Studds, in contrast, defended the relationship with his page as "mutual and voluntary" and said the relationship didn't warrant the "attention and action" of the House. Studds listened to the verdict from the Speaker with his back to the House.

Do they both deserve equal censure? Of course. But there's one consolation for Crane. His philosophy (of an objective moral order promulgated by God in man's nature) teaches that there is one thing worse than sin. That is denial of sin, which makes forgiveness impossible.

The actions of the two men above is very much like the two thieves on the cross with Jesus. One sees his sinful nature and the need for a savior, the other does not. This is the status of people in our world today. This is the basic difference between the Left and the Right. It's the basis of salvation and the decision each individual must make which will decide his eternity.

The Bible wants nothing to do with moral relativism, and that is why some critics have singled out faithful Christians and Jews for particular scorn. These critics know that the objective moral standards defended by millions of faithful believers stand in the way of uprooting God from our nation. Just as the people of Nehemiah's time confessed their sins and were restored, so we must ask the Lord to forgive us and heal our land.

A proposal to build a mosque steps from Ground Zero received the support of a downtown committee despite some loved ones of 9/11 victims finding it offensive.

The 13-story mosque and Islamic cultural center was unanimously endorsed by the 12-member Community Board 1's financial district committee.

The $100 million project, called the Cordoba House, is proposed for the old Burlington Coat Factory building at Park Place and Broadway, just two blocks from the World Trade Center site.

"I think it will be a wonderful asset to the community," said committee Chairman Ro Sheffe.

Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf, who helped found the Cordoba Initiative following the 9/11 attacks, said the project is intended to foster better relations between the West and Muslims.

He said the glass-and-steel building would include a 500-seat performing arts venue, a swimming pool and a basketball court. "There's nothing like it," said Rauf, adding that facilities will be open to all New Yorkers.

Daisy Khan, executive director of the Cordoba Initiative, said donations from prestigious groups such as the Ford Foundation and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund would pay for the construction.

Khan said the project has received little opposition.

"Whatever concerns anybody has, we have to make sure to educate them that we are an asset to the community," Khan said.

Khan said her group hopes construction on the project will begin by the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Once built, 1,000 to 2,000 Muslims are expected to pray at the mosque every Friday, she said.

No one at last night's meeting protested the project. But some 9/11 families said they found the proposal offensive because the terrorists who launched the attacks were Muslim.

"I realize it's not all of them, but I don't want to have to go down to a memorial where my son died on 9/11 and look at a mosque," said retired FDNY Deputy Chief Jim Riches - whose son Jim, a firefighter, was killed on 9/11.

"If you ask me, it's a religion of hate," said Riches, who did not attend last night's meeting.

Rosemary Cain of Massapequa, L.I., whose son, Firefighter George Cain, 35, was killed in the 2001 attacks, called the project a "slap in the face."

"I think it's despicable. That's sacred ground," said Cain, who also did not attend the meeting.

"How could anybody give them permission to build a mosque there? It tarnishes the area."

They will march in lock step and start ignoring the real evidence and elephants running through the room. It doesn’t matter anymore about Obama’s motives, excuses and reasons for his behavior. It doesn’t matter where he was born. It’s most obvious it wasn’t in the U.S. Anyone with even a small brain in this country knows you don’t spend nearly 2 million dollars in legal fees to hide your birth certificate, passport records and College records unless you have something to hide.

Regardless of the anti American, anti Constitutional and socialist elephants running through the room, this president is not representing the rule of law, constitution and American people at all. It continues to crack me up when I hear commentators on radio and TV referring to Obama as ‘inexperienced,’ and ‘naive.’ He is the ‘boy’ president. I have never once thought of Obama as naive or ‘the boy.’ He is dangerously calculating, focused and organized in his plans to take over America and have Government (which he controls) take over everything in our lives from cradle to grave! There are global elites behind Obama like Soros, UN globalists and Islamic leaders.

Obama may be inexperienced with supporting freedom, Judeo/Christian values and running a real business and country, but he is MOST experienced with practicing, teaching and planning the take over of America. He is a narcissistic, dangerous, fascist who is in the process with this congress of taking over all banking, the auto industry, now health care, soon energy and what we even grow and do in our homes. The ‘readers digest’ version of his intent is simply: CONTROL ALL FLOW OF MONEY, HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION, ARMS, MILITARY, ENTERTAINMENT AND MEDIA. He is well on his way.

Times Topics: Jan Brewer. ON Friday, Gov. Jan Brewer of Arizona signed a law — SB 1070 — that prohibits the harboring of illegal aliens and makes it a state crime for an alien to commit certain federal immigration crimes. It also requires police officers who, in the course of a traffic stop or other law-enforcement action, come to a “reasonable suspicion” that a person is an illegal alien verify the person’s immigration status with the federal government.

Predictably, groups that favor relaxed enforcement of immigration laws, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, insist the law is unconstitutional. Less predictably, President Obama declared it “misguided” and said the Justice Department would take a look.

Presumably, the government lawyers who do so will actually read the law, something its critics don’t seem to have done. The arguments we’ve heard against it either misrepresent its text or are otherwise inaccurate. As someone who helped draft the statute, I will rebut the major criticisms individually:

It is unfair to demand that aliens carry their documents with them. It is true that the Arizona law makes it a misdemeanor for an alien to fail to carry certain documents. “Now, suddenly, if you don’t have your papers ... you’re going to be harassed,” the president said. “That’s not the right way to go.” But since 1940, it has been a federal crime for aliens to fail to keep such registration documents with them. The Arizona law simply adds a state penalty to what was already a federal crime. Moreover, as anyone who has traveled abroad knows, other nations have similar documentation requirements.

“Reasonable suspicion” is a meaningless term that will permit police misconduct. Over the past four decades, federal courts have issued hundreds of opinions defining those two words. The Arizona law didn’t invent the concept: Precedents list the factors that can contribute to reasonable suspicion; when several are combined, the “totality of circumstances” that results may create reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed.

For example, the Arizona law is most likely to come into play after a traffic stop. A police officer pulls a minivan over for speeding. A dozen passengers are crammed in. None has identification. The highway is a known alien-smuggling corridor. The driver is acting evasively. Those factors combine to create reasonable suspicion that the occupants are not in the country legally.

The law will allow police to engage in racial profiling. Actually, Section 2 provides that a law enforcement official “may not solely consider race, color or national origin” in making any stops or determining immigration status. In addition, all normal Fourth Amendment protections against profiling will continue to apply. In fact, the Arizona law actually reduces the likelihood of race-based harassment by compelling police officers to contact the federal government as soon as is practicable when they suspect a person is an illegal alien, as opposed to letting them make arrests on their own assessment.

It is unfair to demand that people carry a driver’s license. Arizona’s law does not require anyone, alien or otherwise, to carry a driver’s license. Rather, it gives any alien with a license a free pass if his immigration status is in doubt. Because Arizona allows only lawful residents to obtain licenses, an officer must presume that someone who produces one is legally in the country.

State governments aren’t allowed to get involved in immigration, which is a federal matter. While it is true that Washington holds primary authority in immigration, the Supreme Court since 1976 has recognized that states may enact laws to discourage illegal immigration without being pre-empted by federal law. As long as Congress hasn’t expressly forbidden the state law in question, the statute doesn’t conflict with federal law and Congress has not displaced all state laws from the field, it is permitted. That’s why Arizona’s 2007 law making it illegal to knowingly employ unauthorized aliens was sustained by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

In sum, the Arizona law hardly creates a police state. It takes a measured, reasonable step to give Arizona police officers another tool when they come into contact with illegal aliens during their normal law enforcement duties.

And it’s very necessary: Arizona is the ground zero of illegal immigration. Phoenix is the hub of human smuggling and the kidnapping capital of America, with more than 240 incidents reported in 2008. It’s no surprise that Arizona’s police associations favored the bill, along with 70 percent of Arizonans.

President Obama and the Beltway crowd feel these problems can be taken care of with “comprehensive immigration reform” — meaning amnesty and a few other new laws. But we already have plenty of federal immigration laws on the books, and the typical illegal alien is guilty of breaking many of them. What we need is for the executive branch to enforce the laws that we already have.

Unfortunately, the Obama administration has scaled back work-site enforcement and otherwise shown it does not consider immigration laws to be a high priority. Is it any wonder the Arizona Legislature, at the front line of the immigration issue, sees things differently?

Hooray for Arizona. Now, Gov. Brewer better switch to an independent party for now her decisions have made her an enemy of the federal government for going against their master plan. She has made the decisions they didn't have the guts to make. If you stand up for borders, language and culture you go against the Feds.

Columnist, Alan Caruba, wrote a recent article entitled, “A Whiff of Revolution,” in which he generally describes the people of the United States as being fed up and disgusted with federal politics. Caruba rightly compares the actions by the federal government (particularly under Obama) to the actions by Great Britain just before the America Revolution, stating that “[i]t is the antithesis of a nation of laws, a republic.” Caruba predicts that Americans will eventually take this matter of freedom back into their own hands once again:

“If, between now and the midterm elections, the President and Congress pass the Cap-and-Trade Act and an amnesty for illegal aliens, I SUSPECT THAT SOME AMERICANS MAY NOT BE CONTENT TO SIT BY WHILE STATES AND THE COURTS WORK THEIR WAY WITHIN THE CONSTITUTION. They will sense—and rightfully so—a despotism never before associated with the presidency.” (emphasis added)

Caruba makes some valid points in his article and accurately describes a feeling of revolution prevalent throughout the country. However, I believe that a more thoughtful analysis must be attributed to what a real and successful revolution will compose.

Be Careful How You Answer

Let me ask readers a question. What's more important: freedom and its undergirding principles, or the entity meant to protect it? A word of caution: be careful how you answer that question, because the way you answer marks your understanding (or lack thereof) of both freedom and the purpose of government.

Thomas Jefferson--and the rest of America's founders--believed that freedom was the principal possession, because liberty is a divine--not human--gift. Listen to Jefferson:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men." (Declaration of Independence)

Jefferson could not be clearer: America's founders desired a land in which men might live in liberty. By declaring independence from the government of Great Britain (and instituting new government), Jefferson, et al., did not intend to erect an idol (government) that men would worship. They created a mechanism designed to protect that which they considered to be their most precious possession: liberty. In other words, the government they created by the Constitution of 1787 was not the object; freedom's protection was the object.

Again, listen to Jefferson: "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men." In other words, government is not the end; it is the means. Government is not the goal; it is the vehicle used to reach the goal. Nowhere did Jefferson (and the rest of America's founders) express the sentiment that government, itself, was the objective. Listen to Jefferson once more:

"That whenever ANY FORM OF GOVERNMENT becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness." (Declaration) (Emphasis added.)

Jefferson is clear: people have a right to alter or abolish ANY FORM OF GOVERNMENT that becomes destructive to liberty. To America's founders, there was no such thing as a sacred cow when it came to government. Government had but one purpose: "to secure these rights." When ANY FORM of government stops protecting sacred, God-given liberties, it is the right and duty of people to do whatever they deem appropriate to secure their liberties--even to abolishing the government.

I am not one to mince words. We are standing on the doorstep at the Memorial to our Republic. The shadow of this great nation is waning and those who have gone before us are standing at attention as the flag draped casket of freedom sets on the horse drawn caisson winding through the streets of eternity. We are watching this tragic and solemn procession while the socialists, communists, leftists, drug dealers, porn kings, illegal aliens, corrupted corporate, pharmaceutical, and banking heads, abortionists and politicians snicker and gloat over their “victory.” We have patiently waited for someone to rescue us and talked this thing to its death. We have run out of time and options. If we have the will, we must now begin the resistance.

At a recent conference, I heard a valiant police trained pastor who specializes in occult crime lead our group through a discussion of EXACTLY why free America is referred to in the past tense. Much of it has to do with politics, treasonous acts of surrender to world forces by the vast majority of elected officials at every level of government. They have been bought off thousands of times and have done so to the complete degeneration of our republic system and the American people.
That alone, calls for a cleaning of the government—top to bottom. The literal handful of legislators across the land who have done the right thing during their tenure should also step aside and allow fresh patriot blood to populate the state and federal government. The same should happen in the judiciary—complete and without exception. Governors are pawns and must retire. Military leadership above the rank of full colonel should also step down. In order to flush this system, ALL elected and appointed positions should be vacated. That is my view. If local folks feel a few should return, that is their choice, but it must be VERY clear that business as usual is a one way ticket out of town. Sheriff’s, police administrators and state police commanders are in this same category. They are “yes” men to conspirators and are incredibly dangerous to moral, constitutional government.

The other side of this dark leadership cadre is the roughly 65 million Americans (200 million worldwide) who participate in some form of “New Age” religion and have sought, tolerated or looked the other way as cults of every kind and persuasion have lured good people to spiritual death. For those of you who do not accept that this is a spiritual battle of the highest order, then stop reading and do something else. Do NOT write and lecture me on the “inappropriate place” I have given this issue within these thoughts. You may hold your view, but understand you are part of the problem. You and the tens of millions of Americans who have chosen to abandon all reason, a selfless lifestyle, and a belief in Godly leadership that translates into trusted leadership. YOU are the reason we have the desolate White House dictatorship that we do, and an idol worshipping Congress that is CONSPIRING to end sovereign America and replace it with rulers that desire Babylon on the Potomac at any cost regardless of our dissent.

Update on Bay Bridge, scheduled to open in 2013. The cost has gone from an original estimate of $1.1 billion to $6.2 billion. The quality of the construction has had it problems also. They say it will stand up to any earthquake, but will it stand up to American construction and engineering. If they had left off the final part which they are starting now, the 'Self Anchored Suspensions' section and continued with the Sky way, they would have saved a ton of money and been finished now.

Two party system

If you don't fit into one of these categories, then you either fit the Legally Stupid or the Legally Dumb category. If you vote on the Democratic ticket after completing 12 years of schooling and watching TV the rest of the time, you're legally stupid. If you still vote on the Republican ticket, you are just legally dumb because you think there is a difference.

Here's the question asked in my September 2000 column titled "It's time to part company": "If one group of people prefers government control and management of people's lives and another prefers liberty and a desire to be left alone, should they be required to fight, antagonize one another, risk bloodshed and loss of life in order to impose their preferences, or should they be able to peaceably part company and go their separate ways?"

The problem our nation faces is very much like a marriage where one partner has broken, and has no intention of keeping, the marital vows. Of course, the marriage can remain intact as one party tries to impose his will on the other and engage in the deviousness of one-upsmanship. Rather than submission by one party or domestic violence, a more peaceable alternative is separation.

I believe we are nearing a point where there are enough irreconcilable differences between those Americans who want to control other Americans and those Americans who want to be left alone that separation is the only peaceable alternative. Just as in a marriage where vows are broken, our human-rights protections guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution have been grossly violated by a government instituted to protect them. The Democrat-controlled Washington is simply an escalation of a process that has been in full stride for at least two decades. There is no evidence that Americans who are responsible for and support constitutional abrogation have any intention of mending their ways.

You say, "Williams, what do you mean by constitutional abrogation?" Let's look at just some of the magnitude of the violations. Article I, Section 8, of our Constitution lists the activities for which Congress is authorized to tax and spend. Nowhere on that list is authority for Congress to tax and spend for: prescription drugs, Social Security, public education, farm subsidies, bank and business bailouts, food stamps and other activities that represent roughly two-thirds of the federal budget. Neither is there authority for congressional mandates to the states and people about how they may use their land, the speed at which they can drive, whether a library has wheelchair ramps and the gallons of water used per toilet flush. The list of congressional violations of both the letter and spirit of the Constitution is virtually without end. Our derelict Supreme Court has given Congress sanction to do anything upon which they can muster a majority vote.

James Madison, the acknowledged father of the Constitution, explained in Federalist Paper No. 45: "The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce. ... The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives and liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement and prosperity of the State."

Americans who wish to live free have several options. We can submit to those who have constitutional contempt and want to run our lives. We can resist, fight and risk bloodshed and death in an attempt to force America's tyrants to respect our liberties and human rights. We can seek a peaceful resolution of our irreconcilable differences by separating.

Some independence movements, such as our 1776 war with England and our 1861 War Between the States, have been violent, but they need not be. In 1905, Norway seceded from Sweden; Panama seceded from Colombia (1903), and West Virginia from Virginia (1863). Nonetheless, violent secession can lead to great friendships. England is probably our greatest ally.

The bottom-line question for all of us is: Should we part company or continue trying to forcibly impose our wills on one another? My preference is a restoration of the constitutional values of limited government that made us a great nation.

America Has Gone to Hell!

Genesis 18:32, “And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.”

I used to say that America is going to Hell; but then realized one day that our nation has already gone to Hell. The United States is incredibly wicked today, spitting in God's face and disregarding the commandments of God's Word. The U.S. has become an obese, pleasure seeking, arrogant, angry, worldly, Godless, self-righteous, ungrateful, sick-minded society.

When a nation stoops so low spiritually that 4,000 precious human beings are slaughtered every day by abortion, that nation has already gone to hell. Young girls today, they just wanna have fun. Young girls today just wanna party. Today young girls wanna go to a nightclub and have open sex on the floor of the nightclub, and then put it on YouTube, and if they should get pregnant they want to throw the baby into a dumpster. That's the new America! No morals. No self-respect. No nation. No borders. No language. No culture. No responsibility. Now that's America today!

When a nation stoops so low spiritually that pornography is legalized and people are downloading it to their cellphones, that nation has already gone to hell. Sodom had no such evil inventions.

When a nation stoops so low spiritually that God's name is taken in vain in nearly every Hollywood movie produced, that nation has already gone to hell.

When a nation stoops so low spiritually that public school children are taught that they are animals, who evolved from stardust, that nation has already gone to hell.
