Electoral College saves a Republic from mob rule of Democracy

The Electoral College was established by the framer of the U.S. Constitution because they know that a Republic was a much better system of Government than a Democracy which can turn into mob rule. A Republic gives all states, even the small ones a equal vote. In this election it work just like it was suppose to. Barack Obama reaches highest approval rating in his second term as President

The Gallup survey disclosed the results as the outgoing president races to protect his legacy President Barack Obama has achieved his highest approval rating of 57 per cent during his second term in the White House, just two months before he hands over to Donald Trump.
