Talk Radio safe now
The 'Fairness Doctrine' today was voted down in Congress, including most Democrats voting against it. So now you think that Talk Radio will be safe for people like Savage, Rush and Beck. Well, not so fast. The Democrats in Congress knew that passing this bill to control free speech would go bad for them in the eyes of the public so they will let the courts do their dirty work for them. Just wait and see if now the courts get involved under the pretense of hateful or damaging speech against the well being of society. People seem to accept the loss of their rights and freedoms if it's made into law. The Socialist control the Television, Newspapers and partial control of who's books get printed. Just two more outlets to go for total control. That is Talk Radio and the Internet. Once it was book burning, now it requires control of all the various forms of media delivery.

"UK PALESTINIANS CLINTON FUNDS "U.S. plans $900 million pledge for Gaza" WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States plans to pledge more than $900 million (621 million pounds) to help rebuild Gaza after Israel's invasion and strengthen the Western-backed Palestinian Authority, a U.S. official said on Monday.
The money will be channelled through U.N. and other bodies and will not be distributed via the militant group Hamas, which rules Gaza, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton plans to make the announcement next week at a Gaza donors conference in Egypt.

Aasiya and Muzzammil Hassan
Police revealed the decapitated wife of a Muslim TV network founder in New York was stabbed several times with hunting knives and may have been alive as her killer beheaded her – and, despite the brutal slaying, her husband will only face charges of second-degree murder.
As WND previously reported, Muzzammil Hassan, 44, who has been charged with beheading his wife, Aasiya Hassan, 37, was the recipient of an award from the controversial Council on American-Islamic Relations, the self-described Muslim civil rights group that boasts of its influence on U.S. government policy.
The Hassans founded Bridges TV in November 2004. They described it as a satellite news and opinion channel aimed at portraying Muslims in a positive light following the Sept. 11 attacks.
Hassan is accused of cutting off his wife's head at his Buffalo, N.Y., station Feb. 12. However, sources have now confirmed that the woman was gouged with hunting knives before she was decapitated, the Buffalo News reports.
Orchard Park police said Hassan is not a hunter, and would not say how he may have obtained the knives. Authorities have refused to discuss details of the case, and are still investigating to determine whether Aasiya was alive while her murderer decapitated her.
The victim's lawyer said Aasiya, a Pakistani national, filed for divorce after numerous incidents of domestic violence. She cited "cruel and inhuman treatment" as reason for the dissolution.
Aasiya had a restraining order against her husband as of Feb. 6 and had kicked him out of their home in Orchard Park, a Buffalo suburb. Her older sister, Asma Firfirey, told the Cape Argus in South Africa that Aasiya often called to talk about marital troubles and said she believes her sister suffered several hours of torture before being murdered.
On Feb. 12, Hassan informed police his wife was dead and told them exactly where to find her remains. Authorities located the woman's head lying next to her body in a studio hallway.
Muzzammil Hassan receives award from CAIR-PA Chairman Iftekhar Hussain and CAIR National Chairman Parvez Ahmed.
Some have described the murder as an "honor killing" – a term used to describe a killing in which a Muslim man murders his daughter or wife to defend the family's honor. In countries where Islam is practiced, the murders may be perceived as excusable or understandable punishment for a woman's disobedience.
While CNN reports Hassan admitted to killing Aasiya, Hassan's defense attorney, James P. Harrington, claims his client never confessed to the murder.
An Erie County grand jury is expected to hear Hassan's case soon. If convicted of second-degree murder, Hassan may face life in prison. According to New York State law, the charge is applied in cases where an attacker "acted under the influence of extreme emotional disturbance for which there was a reasonable explanation or excuse."
A first-degree murder conviction could have meant a maximum sentence of life without parole, but prosecutors say the charge may only be applied to 13 specific deliberate types of homicides, including murders of judges, law enforcement officers, witnesses, or in cases of torture, contract, terrorist or serial killings.
According to New York Penal Law Section 125.27, a person is guilty of murder in the first degree when he causes the death of a person and "acted in an especially cruel and wanton manner pursuant to a course of conduct intended to inflict and inflicting torture upon the victim prior to the victim's death."
Despite the gruesome nature of the attack, stab wounds and decapitation, and the law's torture clause, prosecutors told the Buffalo News they cannot charge Hassan with first-degree murder because the crime doesn't fit New York State requirements.

Beheading in America - very little news coverage
Orchard Park, New York police are investigating a particularly gruesome killing, the beheading of a woman, after her husband — an influential member of the local Muslim community — reported her death to police Thursday.
Police identified the victim as Aasiya Z. Hassan, 37. Detectives have charged her husband, Muzzammil Hassan, 44, with second-degree murder.
"He came to the police station at 6:20 p.m. [Thursday] and told us that she was dead," Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz said late this morning.
Muzzammil Hassan told police that his wife was at his business, Bridges TV, on Thorn Avenue in the village. Officers went to that location and discovered her body.
Muzzammil Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.
The killing apparently occurred some time late Thursday afternoon. Detectives still are looking for the murder weapon.
"Obviously, this is the worst form of domestic violence possible," Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III said today.
Authorities say Aasiya Hassan recently had filed for divorce from her husband.
"She had an order of protection that had him out of the home as of Friday the 6th [of February]," Benz said.
Muzzammil Hassan was arraigned before Village Justice Deborah Chimes and sent to the Erie County Holding Center.

Ironically, Bridges TV was launched by Hassan in 2004 in Buffalo, New York, in an effort to portray Muslims in a more positive light. Erie Country District Attorney has called this the “worst form of domestic violence possible.” Because honor killings, such as beheadings, are still fairly uncommon in the United States, it is curious that the mainstream media has failed to adequately cover this story. MSNBC is the only major media to mention this story. MSNBC ran a scant report that only summarized The Buffalo News report.
After all, we are not Denmark. It's about Muslims and our Socialist state controlled media would only deem it important if Christians or Jews had done it. Their policy is not to portray Islam in a bad light.

Michael Savage The Enemy Within
PRESIDENT'S DAY VS. LINCOLN'S BIRTHDAY
TODAY AMERICA CELEBRATES A PATHETIC SHADOW OF A HOLIDAY CALLED PRESIDENT'S DAY. WHAT ONCE WAS ABRAHAM LINCOLN'S BIRTHDAY AND GEORGE WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY HAVE BEEN COMBINED INTO ONE BLAND AND AMBIGUOUS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF OUR PRESIDENTS. IT IS NO LONGER POLITICALLY CORRECT TO HAVE A HOLIDAY NAMED FOR A WHITE, AMERICAN MAN. IT IS NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE TO MENTION A PRESIDENT WHO LED OUR NATION DURING A TIME OF WAR. IT IS NO LONGER APPROPRIATE TO SPEAK THE NAME OF SOMEONE KNOWN TO AS THE FATHER OF OUR COUNTRY. THAT WOULD BE TOO CHAUVINISTIC. THAT WOULD BE TO MISOGYNISTIC. THAT WOULD BE TOO INSENSITIVE.
GEORGE WASHINGTON DEFEATED THE GREATEST MILITARY POWER ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH THAT EXISTED IN HIS DAY. BUT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO IDENTIFY HIM. ABRAHAM LINCOLN ISSUED THE EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION WHICH FREED THE SLAVES AND YET HIS NAME IS ENSLAVED IN OBSCURITY. GEORGE WASHINGTON GUIDED THE CREATION OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, THE SAME CONSTITUTION WHICH GUARANTEES US FREE SPEECH, AND YET WE CANNOT SPEAK HIS NAME IN CELEBRATION OF HIS BIRTHDAY. ABRAHAM LINCOLN LED THE COUNTRY IN THE MIDST OF A CIVIL WAR. BUT TODAY WE ARE AT A POINT WHERE BECAUSE OF HIS RACE AND SEX, ABRAHAM LINCOLN IS EXCLUDED FROM PUBLIC MENTION, EXCEPT WHEN HE'S COMPARED TO OBAMA.
IN THIS IS A DAY AND AGE, A SINGLE RACE IS GIVEN ITS OWN EXCLUSIVE HOLIDAY IN THE FORM OF MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY. BUT THE PEOPLE WHO CREATED THIS COUNTRY AND PEOPLE, WHO PRESERVED THIS COUNTRY IN ITS DARKEST MOMENTS, AND THE PEOPLE WHO CONTINUE TO BUILD IT TODAY RECEIVE NO RECOGNITION BECAUSE IT OFFENDS THE SENSITIVITIES OF AN ELITE MINORITY. ABOLISH PRESIDENTS' DAY. BRING BACK GEORGE WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY AND LINCOLN'S BIRTHDAY. SPEAK THE NAMES OF THE GREAT MEN WHO FOUNDED AND BUILT THIS NATION. AND SHOUT DOWN THE SANCTIMONIOUS SIMPERING OF THE LIBERALS THAT ECHOES FORTH OUT OF EVERY TELEVISION SCREEN IN THIS COUNTRY.

Arab Israeli Peace Plan
JERUSALEM (AP) - Tzipi Livni, who hopes to be appointed Israel's prime minister-designate, said Monday Israel must give up considerable territory in exchange for peace with the Palestinians, drawing a clear distinction with her rival, Benjamin Netanyahu.
She told a convention of American Jewish leaders, "we need to give up parts of the Land of Israel," using a term that refers to biblical borders that include today's Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, repeating her well-known view that pulling out of Palestinian areas would be for the good of Israel, to maintain it as a Jewish state.
Livni told the Conference of Presidents of Major American Organizations that Israel must take the initiative and come forward with its own peace plan to head off international programs. "Any plan put on the table will not be in our interest," she said.
Livni's centrist Kadima Party won one more seat than the hawkish Likud, led by Netanyahu. He opposes large-scale territorial concessions in peace talks with the Palestinians. He believes negotiations should concentrate instead on building up the Palestinian economy.

Idea came from Dubai's off shore island building. Finally an Arab plan that drives Israel into the sea and a Israeli politician who would probably support it.

THE COST OF FREEDOM
Michael Rivero
Politicians and pundits use the phrase “Cost of Freedom” a lot, usually in reference to something they are asking you to do that you probably prefer not to, such as pay higher taxes, wear a uniform, submit to intrusive surveillance, or simply keep quiet about any doubts you may have about the former.
Before going into the cost of freedom, however, perhaps we need to take a closer look at what we mean by freedom, exactly.
There is no pure, perfect freedom. We all agree that there are certain things we should not be free to do, such as to walk in and out of each others’ homes removing TV sets and jewelry, or shoot the neighbor who is hard of hearing and falls asleep each night in front of the too-loud TV set. We understand and agree to certain rules required to create a society in which specialized skills operate together in mutually beneficial commerce.
So, let us start out by defining a free society not as a society where people are free to do what they wish, but as one in which we freely choose to surrender certain behaviors in exchange for the benefits of living within that society. A covenant exists between the rulers and the ruled in which each freely agrees to follow a set of rules of behavior, in exchange for a certain set of rights. In the United States, that covenant is enshrined in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, a contract which lays out what the government may, and more importantly may not do.
In a free society, the covenant must be enforced on both the rulers and the ruled equally. To enforce the covenant upon the people there is law enforcement, and when needed, prison. To enforce the covenant on the side of the government, the Founding Fathers created a government of three components, each charged with keeping an eye on the other two, and when needed, to legally restrain excess of authority.
The Founding Fathers created a nation in which government was broken into separate components that enforced the covenant on each other because history has shown that power attracts the very sort of people who should never have it. With precious few exceptions, most people who seek power do so for very selfish reasons, and willing to do anything to get it, are usually equally willing to do anything with it. A free society must be one in which the freedoms of the rulers are subject to the same limits as the freedoms of the people.
At the dawning of the Third Millennium, the United States has fallen from the Republic created by the Founding Fathers to a society in which the government is not enforced to adhere to the covenant, and rights and freedoms are surrendered by the people not in exchange for benefits, but by trickery and deception.
The US Government has fallen from the high and noble ideals on which the nation was founded. The covenant is broken, and the US Government rules the nation by fear, not only of its direct authority but of an endless and unbroken chain of manufactured fears used to terrorize the people of the nation into agreeing to surrender more rights, more money, even the lives of their children.
For almost 50 years following WW2, the US Government waved the fear of “The Communist Menace” at us all, in response to which We The People surrendered trillions of dollars building nuclear weapons to point at the Soviets. Looking back, we see that the Communist government was at the same time waving “The Capitalist Menace” at their citizens, to trick them into surrendering their wealth into building of nuclear weapons to point back at the USA.
Following the collapse of the USSR, the United States Government lost its most potent demon to wave at the masses. But it was quickly replaced with SARS, Aids, Swine Flu, Avian Flu, Ebola, Global Warming, Global Cooling, inflation, deflation, and most recently terrorists. Each and every demon was waved at us to trick us into surrendering more of our money, more of our children’s lives, more of our rights, and each and every demon had no more substance than the paper-mache’ heads used by the Wizard of Oz to trick Dorothy into making war on the Wicked Witch of the West. Fear gave politicians issues to run on, defense and medical corporations markets for their products, and media sensational content for their periodicals and broadcasts.
That it was all trickery and deception with the purpose of tricking us out of our rights was best illustrated by President George W. Bush’s plan to deal with Avian Flu, which not only enriched his good friend Donald Rumsfeld, but also included gun confiscation. It should be noted that firearms (and the second amendment) do not increase one’s susceptibility to infection by viruses. Clearly, the real agenda isn’t to save the populace from a flu virus (which as of this writing has actually killed few humans), but to grab the guns and remove the right to firearms recognized by the Founding Fathers.
The problem with a government that rules by fear is that once they have started to use fear on their own population they can never stop, never allow the fear to subside, never allow the population to calm down and think rationally. Because when the population stops being afraid, when they start to think, they will start asking why they cannot have all the rights, freedoms, and money back. This actually happened following the collapse of the USSR in 1990, when Americans, tired of the trillions in taxes collected and spent on the nuclear deterrent, demanded a drastic reduction in military spending. So, in 1991, the US tricked Saddam Hussein into invading Kuwait by promising they would not object, then invaded Iraq, thereby having a convenient war to keep the military budget inflated.
Today we are in two wars, both of which now appear to have been started with outright lies by the US Government. Americans are starting to say “no” to more wars and that is a good thing, for above all else freedom means the freedom to say “no” to the government,; to remind them that they too are bound by the covenant to restrict their actions to the letter of the Constitution and the laws.
The Cost of that Freedom isn’t paying more taxes or wearing a uniform; it is simply to decide one will not be afraid of the manufactured demons put forth in print and in TV that serve no purpose than to keep the people meek and under control. That is all it takes; the will to not be afraid.
Of course the government does not like people who refuse to live in fear, or who say no. Every time a citizen stands up and says “no” the tyrant fears. Every time a citizen refuses to be afraid the government will work extra hard to make that person afraid, and even today we see those who speak out, because they are no longer afraid, subjected to harassment and intimidation. Yet they remain unafraid, for they see the harassment and intimidation for what it is, a symptom of a government losing control of the people, and they choose to remain unafraid.
So, that’s really all there is to it. Refusing to be afraid. Refusing to be tricked out of your rights.
Freedom is the freedom to say “no”, and the freedom to live your life unafraid.

Big Bang
People believe in Evolution so that they won't have to use the brain that God gave them. What can I say, I'm only a dumb animal and I have the school system in place to back me up.What's the weather going to be like tomorrow? I can't tell you for sure what it's going to be but did you know there are black holes in space that light can't escape out of. Is that why you haven't seen the Light? Why hasn't there been a second Big Bang or would that be a gang bang? Why did, according to scientist, every step in Evolution come at the right moment? Meteor's brought water to earth; that's how we got our oceans? Talk about having Faith, even I have trouble with that one. The Bible, written thousands of years ago give you these answers to these questions. Even back then God knew He would have to put in an explanation about our oceans, He also said he created each animal and that they would reproduce their same species each time they mated. Turkey's didn't evolve from fierce Raptor creatures. Whales didn't previously have legs. Need I say more, I have many more facts. Let me know if you need them. Beware of the History, Discovery and Nat Geo channels teachings. Just enjoy the special effects.

Alabama Judge
Some of you may be wondering what Judge Roy Moore has been doing since he was removed from the bench for refusing to remove the Ten Commandmentsfrom his courtroom wall. Please read the poem he wrote. The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama. Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama ! The judge's poem sums it up quite well.
~~~America the beautiful, Or so you used to be. Land of the Pilgrims' pride; I'm glad they'll never see. Babies piled in dumpsters, Abortion on demand, Oh, sweet land of liberty; Your house is on the sand. Our children wander aimlessly, Poisoned by cocaine Choosing to indulge their lusts, When God has said abstain. From sea to shining sea, Our Nation turns away. From the teaching of God's love, And a need to always pray. We've kept God in ourTemples, how callous we have grown. When earth is but His footstool, And Heaven is His throne. We've voted in a government that's rotting at the core, Appointing Godless Judges; Who throw reason out the door. Too soft to place a killer In a well deserved tomb, But brave enough to kill a baby Before he leaves the womb. You think that God's not Angry, that our land's a moral slum? How much longer will He wait Before His judgment comes? How are we to face our God, From Whom we cannot hide?What then is left for us to do, But stem this evil tide? If we who are His children, Will humbly turn and pray; Seek His holy face And mend our evil way: Then God will hear from Heaven; And forgive us of our sins, He'll heal our sickly land And those who live within. But, America the Beautiful, If you don't - then you will see, A sad but Holy God Withdraw His hand from Thee.
~~Judge Roy Moore~~ This says it all. May we all forward this message and offer our prayers for Judge Moore to be blessed and for America to wake up and realize what we need to do to keep OUR America the Beautiful. Pass this on and let's lift Judge Moore up in Prayer. He has stood firm and needs our support. IN GOD WE TRUST!
Benjamin Netanyahu TEL AVIV, Israel – Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu – leading by a wide margin ahead of next week's prime ministerial elections – has secretly issued a stern warning to Hamas that if its rocket campaign continues once he's in power, he will not hesitate to eliminate the terror group's leadership in both the Gaza Strip and Syria, WND has learned.
The warning is particularly strong, since Hamas' leadership in Syria is protected by the Damascus regime. Israel traditionally shies away from threatening attacks on Syrian soil. The Jewish state took great care during its 2006 war against Hezbollah in Lebanon to not strike targets too close to the Syrian border for fear of bringing Damascus into the conflict. One year later, though, Israel targeted a nascent Syrian nuclear reactor being built with aid from North Korea.
According to both Israeli and Palestinian sources intimately familiar with the threats, Netanyahu this week conveyed a secret message to Hamas through a third Arab party in which he stated he will undoubtedly be Israel's prime minister next week. Netanyahu's message warned if Hamas' terrorist attacks continue from Gaza, he could target its top leaders in both Gaza and Syria even if such actions would result in a confrontation with Syria.
Hamas' overall chief, Khaled Meshaal, and other top Hamas leaders, reside openly in Syria.
"I'm very serious about this," Netanyahu's message continued, according to the sources.
The sources said the threats until now have only been known by a small number of individuals in Natanyahu's camp, Hamas and a third Arab party.
Responding to the threats, Ahmed Yousef, Hamas' chief political adviser in Gaza told WND today, "We don't care what Netanyahu says."
"We don't pay any attention to these threatening statements. We are people still living under occupation. We have right to defend ourselves," Yousef continued, speaking to WND from Gaza.
The threats come as senior Israeli defense ministry official Amos Gilad headed to Cairo today to meet with Egyptian mediators over continued negotiations for a truce with Hamas in Gaza.
Since Israel wrapped up its military campaign against Hamas last month, a number of rockets have been launched from the Gaza Strip aimed at nearby Jewish communities.
On Sunday, while Hamas signaled it was willing to enter a cease-fire with Israel, WND reported members of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the declared military wing of the U.S.-backed Fatah party, took responsibility for a barrage of five rockets and five mortars fired from the Gaza Strip. The attack lightly wounded two Israeli soldiers and one civilian. One of the rockets reportedly landed between two Jewish kindergartens.
Earlier this week, a long-range Grad rocket fired from Gaza landed in the strategic port city of Ashkelon, which houses an electricity plant that supplies about 70 percent of Gaza's power.
All major polls here have projected a major win for Netanyahu and his Likud party in next week's elections. Aside from his policy on Gaza, Netanyahu has said his primary goal as prime minister would be to halt Iran's alleged drive to obtain nuclear weapons.
Describing Iran as the biggest threat facing Israel, perhaps since the state's founding in 1948, he said at an international conference here this week, "we will act, on a real level in order to neutralize this danger."
Man of the Year for 2009?
NEW YORK (AP) - In his first public comments about what it was like to safely land a passenger jet in the Hudson River, US Airways pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger described the ordeal "surreal" and said the silence in the cockpit after both engines lost power was "shocking."
In a brief interview with ESPN the night before the Super Bowl—where he and the crew were given a standing ovation—Sullenberger said that while he was guiding the plane to a splash landing he felt "calm on the outside, turmoil on the inside."
The California pilot has been called a hero for safely landing the Airbus 320, which lost power in both engines after striking a flock of birds shortly after taking off from New York's LaGuardia Airport. All 150 passengers and crew members were rescued safely.
Asked what it was like when he realized both engines were out, Sullenberger called it "shocking." "It was very quiet as we worked, my co-pilot and I. We were a team. But to have zero thrust coming out of those engines was shockingly silent," he said.
His wife, Lori Sullenberger, said the two of them have been opening letters from well-wishers every night that are so emotional, "it allows both of us to express emotion about it all. We both sit there and cry."
The couple are to appear in an interview to be broadcast Sunday on CBS's "60 Minutes."
In an account of the ordeal published in The Dallas Morning News on Friday, Susan O'Donnell, an American Airlines pilot who was a passenger on Flight 1549, said that as the plane approached the water, the passengers "remained calm and almost completely quiet."
She described the impact as much milder than she had anticipated. "If the jolt had been turbulence, I would have described it as moderate," she said.
O'Donnell praised Sullenberger's leadership, saying he talked with passengers and crew after the landing and that he'd even remembered to take the aircraft logbook with him.
She said Sullenberger asked her if she wanted to join the crew at the hotel, and that she accepted, as she had lost her wallet.
"He immediately pulled out his wallet and gave me $20. His concern for me when he had so much else to worry about was amazing," O'Donnell said.
If we had people of his stature in Government, what a great nation we would still have.
