Understanding Evolution

Lets see, man evolved from primates. Definitely an improvement there; especially if you like fast cars and beautiful women. But as you can see in the picture above, we might not be done yet. After all scientist say that pigs have a very high IQ among those in the animal world and even today pigs are used for testing because their skin makeup is closest to humans. I submit to you that maybe we got it all wrong. That maybe these pigs you see are really the early stages of humans next step in evolution. When you look at some people, there is compelling evidence out there.
Now as for the alligator, it has gone unchanged for million of years. I guess if you are perfect, there is no need to change.
My last comment is on birds. That's right, they evolved from dinosaurs. I understand part of it, you know the size and mobility problem; but really, would you give up that position of power and strength? Wasn't there something about the survival of the fittest?
I hope you have a clearer understanding now. I guess I'm just 'oh ye of little faith.'

Sarcosuchus imperator (flesh crocodile emperor) also known as super croc, was a giant crocodile that walked the earth about 110 million years ago. Super croc was 37-40 feet long. That is twice the size of the largest living crocodile on record. Super croc weighed 17,500 lbs, which is 10 times the weight of the heaviest crocodile living today.
During the 1940’s and 1950’s, a paleontologist from France named Alfred Felix de Lapparent found armor plates and fossilized teeth of this giant crocodile. He found the fossils while on a mission to the Sahara. This was the first evidence of Super Croc’s fossils. The discovery site was in the country of Niger.
A group of people went on an expedition to Niger in the year 2000. During that expedition, they found about 50% of the skeleton of super croc. Many technicians and students cleaned the bones, and believe it or not, it still took one whole year to clean all of the bones thoroughly.
Super croc was known to have eaten dinosaurs. It sure sounds pretty strange but it is true.

Chickens and dinosaurs may have more in common than was previously thought after researchers discovered close ties between the two creatures.
The link between the bird and the Tyrannosaurus Rex has been revealed in a protein study dating back 88million years.
Scientists from Harvard University discovered the link between chickens and the T-Rex when they analysed the structure of tiny shreds of collagen taken from a fossilised dinosaur bone.

POLK COUNTY FLORIDA SHERIFF GRADY JUDD

An illegal alien in Polk County Florida who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop ended up 'executing' the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued.
The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area and as soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times.
Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor undocumented immigrant 68 times.
Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: 'Because that's all the ammunition we had..' Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!
The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes.. When asked by a reporter how that could be since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (QUOTE of 2009) "when you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die."

Angilo Freeland

Angilo Freeland (1979 – 29 September 2006) was an Antiguan national who was pulled over for speeding in Lakeland, Florida by Polk County Sheriff's Deputy Doug Speirs around noon on September 28, 2006. After giving the officer a fake ID, and the officer called for backup, Freeland (who was armed with a handgun) ran into the woods and hid. A K9 unit responded and the two officers and the dog began searching for Freeland. Freeland shot K9 officer Deputy Vernon "Matt'" William 9 times, including 1 close-range shot into the officer's head and a second shot into the offier's head with the muzzle of the pistol pressed against the victim's skull. Freeland also killed the dog, and then shot Deputy Speirs in the leg when he came to assist his fellow-officer. Freeland took the dead officer's weapon and ammunition and hid in the woods again.

Deputy Speirs notified his dispatcher of the situation and authorities mounted a massive manhunt, including 500 officers, every available police dog, a SWAT tank and a helicopter. Law enforcement officers searched the woods for Freeland, who came out of the woods once to shoot at the searchers. He was finally cornered by 10 SWAT officers the next day. The SWAT team members say that when Freeland pointed his gun at them, they opened fire, shooting Freeland 68 times out of their 110 rounds fired. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd later told reporters that Freeland was shot 68 times because:

Bergen is located on the south-western coast of Norway and ranks as the 2nd largest city in the country with 250.000 inhabitants. The city is thought to have been founded by king Olav Kyrre, son of Harald Hardråde, in AD 1070, and has been an important trading centre in Norway ever since. Towards the end of the 13th century, Bergen became one of the Hanseatic League's most important bureau cities. Our thoughts today are with Israel, and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his family.
The Palestinian people [do] not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. While as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan. The facts are as follows based on UN records:

1. Palestine was a British invention after WWI and never existed as an independent state. Most of this "Palestine" is called Jordan today.

2. The small number of people (700,000) occupied the entire Palestine Mandate which included Israel, the West Bank, Golon Heights, Gaza and Jordan today. Most of the Arab populations lived East of the Jordan River.

3. The common usage of the word "Palestinian" refers to people who live in Palestine: Arabs (a "mixed race of Arabic speaking peoples"), Bedouins, Christians, Druze, and Jews.

4. Under Muslim rule the region had been reduced to a barren wasteland. Jews were the only people that produced anything causing resentment from the masses of illiterate and poverty-ridden Arabs. Jews never held any political power until 1948.

5. The British didn't want a Jewish majority in the region. This led in later years to a policy of systematically reduced immigration quotas, and indirectly to the death of millions of Jewish refugees in Europe twenty some years later. The British would illegally partition the region into Jordan, (forbidding Jews from living there) then stripped off the Golon Heights giving that to France and Syria. Calling the remainder "Palestine" then flooding it with outside Arabs.

6. Constant agitation by outside Arabs and others leading to riots and murders of Jews. The British did nothing to stop this. Immigration and travel restrictions were almost universally applied only to Jews, no restriction was placed on Arab immigration to help flood the region with Arabs the British favored. Jews were the only economic success even with all of this going on.

7. Whenever there were Arab riots, Jewish immigration was restricted. This was the beginning of the British Policy of Appeasement, and the success of terrorism. The success of terrorism goes on today and appeasement still fails today. When will they ever learn?

8. All lands acquired by Jews were purchased, not taken according to Arafat's Nazi Uncle in 1937 and the British. Haj Amin al-Husseini was a Nazi war criminal wanted in Yugoslavia and mixed Nazi ideology into Islam. Arafat in fact wasn't even a Palestinian, but was born, raised, and educated in Egypt. According to Forbes, his estate is estimated to be worth over $300 million while he locked his own people into concentration camps.

9. Between 1950 and 1967 when Jordan and Egypt annexed the West Bank and Gaza, they flooded the area with more Arabs. Even today most Arabs in the West Bank, etc. hold Jordanian passports and Jordanian citizenship. After 1967 Jordan/Egypt relinquished claims to the area then started to scream for a second Palestinian state in addition to the first Palestinian State of Jordan. Before that, they claimed Palestine meant land of the Jews.

10. Even with immigration from Russia in the 1990's, the majority of Israelis are descended from Arab, Asian, and African Jews including two-thirds of the 870,000 Arab Jews expelled from surrounding Arab Nazi states. Druze, Bedouins, Christians, and some Arabs sided with the Jews in 1948 and serve in the Israeli Army today. The Israeli military has three Arab generals.

11. Why did the British do this? It's about oil, stupid! Britian didn't give a damn about Arabs or Jews. Just like America today ignores Saudi terrorism it's still about oil.

"If you believe what you read in most news sources, Palestinians want a homeland and Muslims want control over sites they consider holy. Simple, right?

Well, as an Arab-American journalist says who has spent some time in the Middle East dodging more than his share of rocks and mortar shells, these are just phony excuses for the rioting, trouble-making and land-grabbing.

Isn't it interesting that prior to the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, there was no serious movement for a Palestinian homeland?

"Well, Farah," you might say, "that was before the Israelis seized the West Bank and Old Jerusalem."

That's true. In the Six-Day War, Israel captured Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. But they didn't capture these territories from Yasser Arafat. They captured them from Jordan's King Hussein. I can't help but wonder why all these Palestinians suddenly discovered their national identity after Israel won the war.

The truth is that Palestine is no more real than Never-Never Land. The first time the name was used was in 70 A.D. when the Romans committed genocide against the Jews, smashed the Temple and declared the land of Israel would be no more. From then on, the Romans promised, it would be known as Palestine. The name was derived from the Philistines, a Goliathian people conquered by the Jews centuries earlier. It was a way for the Romans to add insult to injury. They also tried to change the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina, but that had even less staying power.

Palestine has never existed -- before or since -- as an autonomous entity. It was ruled alternately by Rome, by Islamic and Christian crusaders, by the Ottoman Empire and, briefly, by the British after World War I. The British agreed to restore at least part of the land to the Jewish people as their homeland.

There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of 1 percent of the landmass.

But that's too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today. Greed. Pride. Envy. Covetousness. No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough.

What about Islam's holy sites? There are none in Jerusalem.

Shocked? You should be. I don't expect you will ever hear this brutal truth from anyone else in the international media. It's just not politically correct.

I know what you're going to say: "Farah, the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem represent Islam's third most holy sites."

Not true. In fact, the Qur'an says nothing about Jerusalem. It mentions Mecca hundreds of times. It mentions Medina countless times. It never mentions Jerusalem. With good reason. There is no historical evidence to suggest Mohammed ever visited Jerusalem.

So how did Jerusalem become the third holiest site of Islam? Muslims today cite a vague passage in the Qur'an the seventeenth Sura, entitled "The Night Journey." It relates that in a dream or a vision Mohammed was carried by night "from the sacred temple to the temple that is most remote, whose precinct we have blessed, that we might show him our signs. ..." In the seventh century, some Muslims identified the two temples mentioned in this verse as being in Mecca and Jerusalem. And that's as close as Islam's connection with Jerusalem gets -- myth, fantasy, wishful thinking. Meanwhile, Jews can trace their roots in Jerusalem back to the days of Abraham.

The latest round of violence in Israel erupted when Likud Party leader Ariel Sharon tried to visit the Temple Mount, the foundation of the Temple built by Solomon. It is the holiest site for Jews. Sharon and his entourage were met with stones and threats. Can you imagine what it is like for Jews to be threatened, stoned and physically kept out of the holiest site in Judaism?

So what's the solution to the Middle East mayhem? Well, frankly, I don't think there is a man-made solution to the violence. But, if there is one, it needs to begin with truth. Pretending will only lead to more chaos. Treating a 5,000-year-old birthright backed by overwhelming historical and archaeological evidence equally with illegitimate claims, wishes and wants gives diplomacy and peacekeeping a bad name." www.allthingsbeautiful.com/.../palestine/

Discovery of the Mississippi by De Soto

William Henry Powell’s dramatic and brilliantly colored canvas was the last of the eight large historical paintings in the Rotunda commissioned by the Congress. It shows Spanish conquistador and explorer Hernando De Soto (1500–1542), riding a white horse and dressed in Renaissance finery, arriving at the Mississippi River at a point below Natchez on May 8, 1541. De Soto was the first European documented to have seen the river.

As De Soto and his troops approach, the Native Americans watch warily but quietly before their tepees, and a chief holds out the pipe of peace. The central area of the painting is filled with light and color, set off in dramatic relief by the foreground figures in shadow, and the dark forest at the left contrasts strongly with the bright sky on the right. In the foreground, weapons, armor, artillerymen moving a cannon, and a soldier wrapping a wounded leg suggest the attack by Indians that took place the day before. To the right, a monk prays as men set a newly constructed crucifix in the ground. Above this group and fading to the horizon is the Mississippi River, dotted with native canoes, small islands, and a tree being borne downstream; the lightly forested opposite bank is visible along the skyline. Powell based his scene on published accounts and histories, including Theodore Irving’s 1835 The Conquest of Florida by Hernando de Soto. A year later, after De Soto died of a fever, his body was buried in the river, as shown in Constantino Brumidi’s frescoed Frieze of American History above the painting.

American painter William Henry Powell (1823–1879) was the last artist commissioned by the Congress to create a painting for the Capitol Rotunda. He replaced Henry Inman, his former teacher, who was commissioned to fill one of the frames in the Rotunda but who died in 1846 before completing his painting showing Daniel Boone emigrating to Kentucky. Powell, who chose a different subject, worked on the painting in Paris from 1848 to 1853, basing the Spaniards’ costumes and equipment on specimens in the Museum of Artillery. He had a color lithograph made of the painting and exhibited the canvas in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; and New York City before bringing it to Washington, D.C.

The painting has undergone various cleaning, revarnishing, repair, and restoration treatments since its installation. In 1982 the painting was lined to an aluminum panel to help it resist the effects of changes in temperature and humidity. All of the Rotunda paintings were most recently cleaned in 2008.

Engravings of Discovery of the Mississippi by De Soto have appeared on the reverse of two United States bank notes: a $10 note in the 1860s and a $500 note in the 1918 series.

William Henry Powell was born in New York City on February 14, 1823, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, from infancy. His youthful interest in art was encouraged by a local philanthropist, and he received instruction. At the age of seventeen he returned to New York, where he became a pupil of Henry Inman, and he later studied art in Italy for three years. Initially recognized for his portraits, he moved into the field of history painting, which led to his work for the Rotunda. The success of Discovery of the Mississippi by De Soto led the Ohio legislature to commission him to paint The Battle of Lake Erie (1873), a scene of Commodore Perry’s famous victory. This work, still displayed in the Ohio Statehouse, prompted the Congress to commission a larger version, which hangs in the east Senate Grand Staircase in the Capitol. Powell’s other history paintings include The Siege of Vera Cruz, The Landing of the Pilgrims, and Washington at Valley Forge. His portraits include depictions of Washington Irving, Peter Stuyvesant, and General George B. McClellan. He died in New York on October 6, 1879.

Embarkation of the Pilgrims
This painting depicts the Pilgrims on the deck of the ship Speedwell on July 22, 1620, before they departed from Delfs Haven, Holland, for North America, where they sought religious freedom. They first sailed to Southampton, England, to join the Mayflower, which was also making the voyage. After leaks forced the Speedwell to make additional stops in Dartmouth and then Plymouth, its passengers boarded the Mayflower. Five months later the Pilgrims settled the Plymouth Colony in present-day Massachusetts.

The group appears solemn and contemplative of what they are about to undertake as they pray for divine protection through their voyage; the words “God with us” appear on the sail in the upper left corner. The figures at the center of the composition are William Brewster, holding the Bible; Governor Carver, kneeling with head bowed and hat in hand; and pastor John Robinson, with extended arms, looking Heavenward. Gathered around them are the men, women, and children going on the voyage. Some are dressed in traditional puritan attire while others wear more fanciful and bright garments. The armor, helmet, and musket in the foreground represent the tools that the Pilgrims will use for protection in the new and unfamiliar land. In the background on the right are the city and people the Pilgrims leave, and on the left a rainbow represents the hope and promise of what lies ahead.

Embarkation of the Pilgrims is Robert Weir’s most famous work. Initially, Weir had intended to paint a scene depicting the Mayflower Compact. However, the same subject was proposed by artist and inventor Samuel F. B. Morse, who also sought a commission for one the Rotunda paintings. While Morse did not receive a commission, Weir out of respect chose instead to the paint the embarkation from Delfts Haven. Weir’s depiction of the event was drawn from Nathaniel Morton’s New-England’s Memorial of 1669 and, perhaps, Cotton Mather’s Magnalia Christi Americana. The armor and costumes Weir collected in Europe were sources for the garments worn by those depicted. The painting was completed in July 1843 and was first seen by the Corps of Cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where Weir was an instructor. The painting then traveled to Boston, New York, and Philadelphia and was hung in the Capitol in December that same year.

The painting has undergone various cleaning, repair, and restoration treatments. In November 1860, the painting was damaged by a falling beam during the construction of the new dome, scraping the painting and causing a hole near the foot of Miles Standish. The War Department detailed Weir from West Point to make the needed repairs. The painting has since undergone periodic cleaning and restoration, including relining and varnishing, with the most recent cleaning in 2008.

In 1857, Weir painted a smaller version of Embarkation of the Pilgrims, which is now in the Brooklyn Museum of Art. In the later work, Weir made changes in light and details and achieved greater focus on the three central figures by giving them fuller faces and broader shoulders. Engravings of this later painting have appeared on the reverses of several U. S. currency notes, including a $50 bank note and the $10,000 Federal Reserve note, the largest denomination ever issued to the general public.

Robert Walter Weir was born in New York City on June 18, 1803. He was a largely self-taught artist who had some formal instruction but developed his skills through first copying pictures and later traveling to Europe to study the art of Florence and Rome. He spent much of his career as an instructor at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was appointed Instructor of Drawing in 1834 and promoted to Professor in 1846; after forty-two years at the Academy, he retired in 1876 and set up a studio in New York City. He painted and exhibited portraits, landscapes, and genre scenes throughout his life—for example, Portrait of Walter Weir (1853), View of the Hudson River (1864), and The Greenwich Boat Club (1833). Weir married Louisa Ferguson in 1829 and later, after her death, married Susan Martha Bayard. He was the father of sixteen children, including artists John Ferguson Weir and Julian Alden Weir. Robert Weir died on May 1, 1889, and is buried at West Point.

In United States Capitol is displayed an 1840 painting by John Gadsby Chapman, The Baptism of Pocahontas, in the Rotunda.
This painting depicts the ceremony in which Pocahontas, daughter of the influential Algonkian chief Powhatan, was baptized and given the name Rebecca in an Anglican church. It took place in 1613 or 1614 in the colony at Jamestown, Virginia, the first permanent English settlement on the North American continent. Pocahontas is thought to be the earliest native convert to Christianity in the English colonies; this ceremony and her subsequent marriage to John Rolfe helped to establish peaceful relations between the colonists and the Tidewater tribes.

The figures of Pocahontas and the officiating minister are given prominence by their placement, their bright white clothing, and the light that shines upon them. Pocahontas kneels on the top level of a stepped dais, her head bowed and her hands clasped before her. Reverend Alexander Whiteaker raises his eyes and his left hand, while his right hand rests on the baptismal font. John Rolfe, Pocahontas’s future husband, stands behind her.

Other colonists and members of Pocahontas’s family look on, displaying a range of emotions. At the left of the painting, Sir Thomas Dale, deputy governor of the colony, has risen from his chair near the font to observe the event. Pocahontas’s regally dressed brother, Nantequaus, turns away from the ceremony as her uncle Opachisco leans in from the right. The seated, brooding figure of another uncle, Opechankanough, turns completely away from the ceremony while Pocahontas’s sister, with an infant, watches from the floor.

Chapman received the commission for the Rotunda painting in 1837 and selected Pocahontas as its subject. He may have chosen to paint her baptism because he had already (in 1836) completed a scene that showed her more widely depicted rescue of John Smith. Seeking to depict the scene of this ceremony accurately, Chapman traveled in England and America to examine objects and buildings from the early seventeenth century. Because the Jamestown church had since been torn down, he based his setting on a church that he believed to be of similar age and incorporated features appropriate to the colony, such as the pine columns; many details were based on a written description by a Jamestown resident. Chapman created this painting in Washington, D.C., in the loft of a barn on G Street, N.W. His life during the time in which he worked on it was marked by great sadness and misfortune: his son died in February 1838, and two weeks later his daughter was born prematurely and survived only ten hours. He was also under mounting pressure from debts and worked quickly on the canvas to collect his payment; after completing it he noted in his day book that the money he received from the government for the painting was “barely equivalent to its cost” to him. The painting was delivered to the Capitol and installed in November 1840.

This painting has undergone various cleaning, repair, and restoration treatments. In 1925, it was relined because of the damage it suffered from currents of heated air rising from the floor registers. Finding a manufacturer in the United States to provide such a large canvas proved difficult, and the canvas was eventually ordered from a company in Brussels. In 1980 the painting was attached to an aluminum panel to help it resist the effects of changes in temperature and humidity. All of the Rotunda paintings were most recently surface cleaned in 2008.

An engraving of Chapman’s painting appeared on the reverse of the First Charter $20 National Bank Notes issued in 1863 and 1875.

John Gadsby Chapman was born on August 11, 1808, in Alexandria, Virginia. He received encouragement and instruction from history painter George Cooke and portraitist Charles Bird King, and he studied further in Philadelphia. In 1828 he traveled to Italy to study the Old Masters, and in 1831 he returned to America to create landscapes and portraits, which he exhibited in Washington, D.C.; Richmond; and Philadelphia. He moved in 1834 to New York City, where he became a member of the National Academy of Design and illustrated books and magazines. He also began a series of history paintings depicting events in colonial-era America, and their success led to the commission for Baptism of Pocahontas, his best-known work. In 1850 he and his family settled in Rome, where he prospered by selling his works to American tourists. In the 1860s, however, the Civil War curtailed tourist travel; in the 1870s his wife died and he relied on fellow Americans for charity. His health failing, he returned to the United States in 1884 and lived with his son in Brooklyn. He died on November 28, 1889.

TV programs, Music Videos, Video Games and Action Movies

Our children today are classified with all type of Attention Deficient Disorders and many have problems paying attention to one subject for longer than a few seconds. There may be some that have valid medical or heredity reasons. The purpose of this article is why since the beginning of the computer and digital age do programmers, media corporation executives and producers create all these shows, music videos and movies where the images continually changed every few seconds. The rapid-fire change of media images, which occurs every 5 to 6 seconds in many programs and 2 to 3 seconds in commercials (even less on MTV and programs on Spike TV), does not give the higher thought brain a chance to even process the image. It reportedly takes the neocortex anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds to engage after a stimulus. The neocortex is our higher brain, but also needs a greater processing time to become involved. This is a deliberate and planned attack on our children to disrupt their developed. It's just one of the many ways family life in America is being destroyed. How children grew up prior to the electronic age and today leaves no doubt. As kids in our day we played outside a lot, interacted with other kids, built things, studied things we saw, enjoyed and watch nature. Things moved at a slower pace. We listen to the radio; yes actually listen. We kids actually talked to each other. When we listen to music, it was cheerful and relaxing. Singers like Doris Day, Bing Crosby and Andy Williams lifted the spirit. Even with the beginning of Television the programs imitated everyday life, always in a positive and uplifting manner. People were polite, the humor was clean and God and things of a religious nature were not banned. These things you took with you when you grew up. There is not one valid reason for all the rapid fire images. Even in the motion pictures there is continuous action scenes of destruction. Forget anything of a story line provoking thought. All the entertainment is mindless chaos. The only effects of this type of program on our kids are harmful ones, extremely harmful. These programs have no value to them except in the negative since.

The main requirement is that it must be a third world country and it must be on the opposite side of the planet with no infrastructure. Examples are Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan. I might also mention Iraq, but we had to pull out. The country was just too modern. That is what keeps us from invading Iran. They have to be wars that drain the wealth of America and accomplish nothing. That's funny because in the past wars were used to fill the national treasure. They must be a war with no end because (1984) War is Peace. Wars take on many purposes. Sometimes, there is a slip up. We left Afghanistan (Bush - Number Two) but Obama took us back. He didn't know we had been there in the first place.

America was never a Christian Nation

Continually for the last 50 years there has been a movement to eradicate anything that is perceived "Christian" from America via the courts, control of the media and by what is taught in our schools and universities. Even though these groups and organizations say, "America was never a Christian Nation" they resort to passing laws and rewriting history to stop what they claim never was. They bring up slavery and the conquest of the American Indians as proof. What a government does and what the people believe are two different things. When the American government joined forces with Stalin in WWII, they sought the help of evil instead of relying on God to win WWII. An oppressive government can overthrow the will of the people. If you don't believe so just ask the people of Russia and Germany. The founding of America and it's Constitution was something the people of the world looked for but rarely found. Was America a Christian nation. When I was growing up in the 1950's I believe so. My parents and grandparents also believed. I'm sure my previous generations believed. I'm also sure that each generation has seen a 'falling away' from God, that is from the Truth and the Righteousness of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I know I have. I have seen the moral fabric of America completely shredded. The same was said by the older generation of my youth. The people today cannot even to begin to understand the 'Faith of our Fathers'. So I do believe America was founded on Christianity. A thousand lies cannot change the Truth. Is America a Christian nation today? Paganism rules!

President Barack Obama outlines the need for immigration policy overhaul (change the policy to accomplish our goal) during a speech at the American University School of International Service in Washington, 01 Jul 2010.

U.S. President Barack Obama has called on Congress to rise above partisan divisions and fix what he called the country's "broken" immigration system. (Broken by Federal government's plan for America.)

In a speech Thursday, Mr. Obama said the problem of illegal immigration has been made worse by the failure of lawmakers in Washington to act. (Not failure but deliberate).

He said the U.S. must adopt a "comprehensive" (A term Socialist use for a plan that harms America is most likely is un-constitutional) approach that includes increasing security along U.S. borders, cracking down on businesses who hire illegal immigrants and reforming the legal immigration system.

Mr. Obama said fences and border patrols alone would not solve the problem (it worked until the Socialist took over) and said the U.S. should create a pathway for the estimated 11 million people in the U.S. illegally to earn their citizenship. (There has always been a legal way to immigrate to the U. S.. You must apply for it. They did it illegally. All Nations control their immigration and borders.)

The issue has raised heated division in Congress, (each uses the immigration situation they created to insure their re-election chances or their socialist agenda) with Republicans generally opposing what they call amnesty programs.

Mr. Obama acknowledged that immigration reform will not pass without Republican votes (if you oppose you are a racist) and said both parties have to take responsibility for solving the problems.

His speech in Washington comes after Arizona and other state and local governments have adopted strict laws (a law that says you must apply for citizenship) to combat illegal immigration.

Mr. Obama Thursday called the Arizona law "ill-conceived" (goes against our plan) and said it had the potential to violate the rights of lawful citizens by allowing law enforcement to stop people based on what they look like. (Playing the race card.)

The Arizona law allows local police to demand proof of citizenship from a person if there is reason to believe that individual is in the United States illegally. (I have to have an ID)

Opponents say the local laws will fuel discrimination, particularly toward Hispanics, (playing the race card again) while supporters say they are a valid response to the issue of illegal immigration and a way to battle the crime that is blamed on illegal immigrants.

Mr. Obama warned that a national immigration policy is necessary to avoid what he called a "patchwork" (state rights versus federal government control) of immigration laws that vary from state to state.

Here in this article above is a classic example of how Socialism intends on destroying the United States of America. Each and every sentence contains one or more lies carefully disguised and phrased so that any rebuttal makes the responder sound like a racist and a hater with no compassion for non-white people. The format of this issue is the same format the Socialist use on every issue. Truths are made lies and lies are made truths. The population has been so brianwashed, they cannot tell the difference. I know that most won't even believe this but I will answer each sentence with exposing just one lie in each. But, of course I will be the hater and racist because to answer each one you have to give answer in the racial terms they were designed to create.
