Who my write-in vote will be

Among conservative leaders only Ann Coulter, and now Alan Keys, refuses to fall into lockstep with the Republican Party. They both have disavowed John McCain's candidacy, and rightfully so. His nomination is proof the Republican Party will continue to leave conservatives on the edges of the Party tent, just far enough out to get a little wet when it rains. Somehow, many conservatives still believe they have a home among the very people who are forcing them into the rain.
That's why true conservatives like Ann Coulter are so vital at this time in American history. She is like a little voice whispering in the ear of conservatives everywhere, reminding them it's time to be a conservative first and a Republican second.
Unless the conservative Republican's stand up to take the party back we will be stuck with the failed policies phony conservatives who spend money like liberals, increase the government bureaucracy and leave true conservatives out in the cold.
It's time for conservatives to realize that a McCain presidency is not that far removed from a Hillary Clinton presidency and different from Barack Obama only on the war on terror. That is enough to make McCain a marginally better choice that Obama, although, when elected, Obama will fail to bring troops home as quickly has he promised. Even with his limited experience, he can see that pulling the troops out now will be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
One of the great pro-gun icons of our times, John Lott Jr. points out another flaw in McCain's conservative pedigree. Not only did McCain agree to another compromise with a Democrat, he personally introduced a provision banning private sales at gun shows. Although he sold it to the American public as a reasonable safety provision, he failed to mention that his bill would give the federal government total control over licensing gun shows, including the ability to deny such a license without giving cause. McCain's proposed legislation would also severely punish gun show promoters if any attendee broke the law at the event.
Such draconian gun laws are more commonly pushed by noted gun grabbers Sens. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., and Diane Feinstein, D-Calif., not the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
There is one final issue that McCain has tried in his bid to convince conservatives that he is still their candidate – judicial nominations. McCain was exposed, however, by his compromise over Bush's conservative nominees as someone who doesn't have the stomach to fight in the Senate for conservative judges. In this case, past performance is most likely a perfect indictor of future performance.
For many conservatives, it's also the final act of treason that forced them to make the difficult, but integrity laden choice, to turn their backs on McCain and the Republicans.
Coulter, alone among conservative commentators, has stayed true to the conservative principles brought to the political forefront by Ronald Reagan, and she alone stands on her values, not as a Republican political partisan, but as a conservative. That leaves only one option for conservatives who want to make a statement to the Republican Party – a write in campaign for Ann Coulter in the 2008 presidential election.
To do otherwise is to betray the conservative ideology, cave to those more concerned with power than principle and further the death of the soul of the Republican Party.

Racism, America's biggest money making game

Patrick J. Buchanan
Posted: 03/21/2008

How would he pull it off? I wondered. How would Barack explain to his press groupies why he sat silent in a pew for 20 years as the Rev. Jeremiah Wright delivered racist rants against white America for our maligning of Fidel and Gadhafi, and inventing AIDS to infect and kill black people? How would he justify not walking out as Wright spewed his venom about "the U.S. of K.K.K. America," and howled, "God damn America!"
My hunch was right. Barack would turn the tables. Yes, Barack agreed, Wright's statements were "controversial," and "divisive," and "racially charged," reflecting a "distorted view of America." But we must understand the man in full and the black experience out of which the Rev. Wright came: 350 years of slavery and segregation. Barack then listed black grievances and informed us what white America must do to close the racial divide and heal the country. The "white community," said Barack, must start "acknowledging that what ails the African-American community does not just exist in the minds of black people; that the legacy of discrimination -- and current incidents of discrimination, while less overt than in the past -- are real and must be addressed. Not just with words, but with deeds ... ." And what deeds must we perform to heal ourselves and our country? The "white community" must invest more money in black schools and communities, enforce civil rights laws, ensure fairness in the criminal justice system and provide this generation of blacks with "ladders of opportunity" that were "unavailable" to Barack's and the Rev. Wright's generations. What is wrong with Barack's prognosis and Barack's cure? Only this. It is the same old con, the same old shakedown that black hustlers have been running since the Kerner Commission blamed the riots in Harlem, Watts, Newark, Detroit and a hundred other cities on, as Nixon put it, "everybody but the rioters themselves." Was "white racism" really responsible for those black men looting auto dealerships and liquor stories, and burning down their own communities, as Otto Kerner said -- that liberal icon until the feds put him away for bribery. Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America. Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these: First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American. Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the '60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks. We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude? Barack talks about new "ladders of opportunity" for blacks. Let him go to Altoona and Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for "deserving" white kids. Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America? Is it really white America's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent? Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself? As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time? Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse? We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena. And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing. Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago.

If Black Americans had voted Republician

1865-1965 If you really researched history you would see that Racism and the KKK were primarily tools of the Democrat party. A party that controlled the South for a hundred years after the Civil war. All progress Blacks made were by conservatives. It's only that the liberal propaganda machine has lied and distorted the facts over the years that has deceived so many people. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. The Cross and the Confederate Flag had no connection with the KKK. The KKK was formed after the Civil War by democrats who hated Lincoln for freeing the blacks. These symbols were hijacked by the KKK. You must remember, lies and deceit are the liberals greatest weapon. One can only wonder how much better the issue of Race relations would be today. If you have read my blogs you know I do not write this in support of today's Republican party. I support neither party today because now Christianity is under attack and even the Republicans have contributed to this attack. "God Bless America, But Don't You Dare Tell Us To Repent!"

On my sites I've never put up "God Bless America" the reason being is, first must come Repentance. Written below is an excerpt from "In Plain Site". More correctly we should say "Pray for America".
But it is right here that the new American religiosity clamps its hands over its ears and refuses to hear. America wants God’s blessing. America wants God to protect us from more horrific visions of airliners flying purposefully, relentlessly into our national monuments. We want God to be near us as we board our aircraft. We want Him to protect us from the horror of thinking about what it was like when the towers collapsed. We want Him to guide our military and allow us to flex our muscle and launch our missiles with impunity. We want a blessing God, a caring God, who simply panders to our wants and whims. This is the “God” of the new American religiosity.
But what America does not want is a God who is holy, who is just, and who has revealed His will concerning how we, His creatures, are to live. America is a land soaked in blood. We glory in violence. We are so selfish, so bound in our avarice, fornication, and sexual lust, that we murder our own offspring in the womb (or at birth as in partial-birth infanticide). Our hands are covered in blood, and yet we think lighting a candle and lifting them up while mumbling “God Bless America” is going to bring God’s favor? Listen to the words of God to another nation that likewise was “religious” but refused to hear the word of repentance:
“So when you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; Yes, even though you multiply prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood.” (Isaiah 1:15).
Is America so arrogant, so utterly self-absorbed, so diseased by religious liberalism and philosophical subjectivism, that she thinks she can ignore all of history itself and demand from God blessings when she refuses to repent of her evils?

Protect yourself, because the Government won't

Well, here we go again. Just ban guns and all will be well. Laws were made for honest people to let them know what the limits of their actions could be in a society. I have never seen a criminal obey laws. A 45 year "War on Drugs" which cost billions of dollars hasn't put a dent in the drug problem. There are no shortage of drugs anywhere. I've never heard someone say, don't go to that town, there's no drugs there. If you ban guns, you are a fool if you think a criminal won't be able to get a gun. How insane can one get. I'll tell you what, the day politicians give up the security details, I'll give up my gun. But just like everything they do, whatever law a politician passes, they exempt themselves from having to go by that law.

This day in History

President Lincoln had to look to the west to find qualified leadership for the Union Army. From Ohio he found both Grant and Sherman. Grant was Commission On March 9, 1864, President Abraham Lincoln officially commissioned Ulysses S. Grant the first Lieutenant General in the U.S. Army since George Washington. In the face of repeated defeats on the eastern front of the war, Grant had been a consistent source of good news -- and good generalship -- in the West. "I can't spare this man," Lincoln said, "he fights."

The direction America has taken

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. This is from Romans, chapter 1. Fits right into todays headlines.
